This place was packed when we lemmingly like followed a crowd in, but it was a cold, dark and windy night and the thought of soup and pasta lured us in.
We were seated fairly quickly (actually ate in the bar, that may have made a difference). Server kindly offered samples of wine, what a great way to get diners to buy more.
We ordered the suggested wine, salad and soup to start. The salad is good, house dresiing is tasty. Minestrone is really salty, no refills on that one thank you.
The 3 selection Italian sampler dish was nice- chicken parm, lasagne and fettucine alfredo. Pasta cooked al dente, sauces tasty and not overly oily, chicken was crisp, cooked nicely.
Took much of this home, will most likely consider Olive Garden again if one presents itself.
Service was a little rough, but the place was packed. Food delivered hot and reasonably quick. Prices are nice on the wallet.
