Was not sure how we would respond to food from Pakistan, answer is....glad we went. My wife rarely will step outside the bow when it comes to food, I am the opposite. The food was very fresh, proportionately spiced and a great value. Being a BYOB I recommend a bottle of a dry white and fruit forward red to compliment the exciting menu.

Though featuring a small menu, the Pomir's freshness and quality is super...I've never had lamb cooked so perfectly. Seating less than 40, the atmosphere is intimate, the service spot-on. A welcome addition to Worcester's booming restaurant scene!

During our return from Andover to NY, we, tired of lack of good options in Andover, decided to give Worcestor a try. Its on the way and not too far from our route... We looked up Pomir Grill. Although we reached towards the closing time, we were given good service. The food was really good. Try their Safron rice... Kebobs are really good. Decadant desserts if you are not concerned about the richness...

They don't serve alcohol but there is liquor store next door - makes it more reasonably priced.

Very good experience. IIt they made it a bit upscale, it would attract more clients.

We expected much more from such a highly rated restaurant. I had the Kachalu Bolani as an appetizer, Chicken Kabob as an entree, and Halwa for dessert. The appetizer and dessert were bland and the chicken was dry. We were there for 90 minutes and only spent 20 eating, because the service was so slow. I wish we had gone to one of several other restaurants in the area.

Never had Afghan food before. The food here is prepared by the owner/manager with ingredients sourced locally. Excellent Afghan bread with three dips: yogurt, herb, and tomato based. Very tasty!
Appetizers very interesting and not expensive. Entrees a bit pricey : lamb kabobs $21.95; chicken kabobs:$17.95,
but, the portions are huge and everyone took half of their lunch home. The beef stew listed under soups is a huge meal all by itself for $6.99.
Cakes and puddings are homemade - also pistachio ice cream. BYOB
We are going back!
