“Worcester's best place to visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2013

WAM covers centuries of art in a beautiful stone building. There's always one or two special exhibits, and art galleries from 12th to the 21st century. Be sure to see the Rembrandt. Modern art is on the fourth floor, up a set of impressive stone stairs. Docent tours are extremely informative and can be tailored to art you want to learn more about.

This museum is a must-see in Worcester. Beautiful art displays and fun activities. Quite kid friendly so don't be afraid to bring them along. Coupons for discount admission are easily available.

“Impressive collection”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 31, 2013

The museum has a good collection of Greek and Roman figures, as well as a couple of large mosaics. The twelfth-century French Chapter House is amazing. Several of my favorite painters are represented: Sargent, Monet, some Pre-Raphaelites, and a Pollack I hadn't seen. They have a strong modern section as well. Well worth your time.
