“what a nice surprise”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

went here today with a few friends and our children. Facilities indoors are very nice. person working the visitor center was also very friendly. Walked on the main trail, although we had to turn around due to the terrain was not stroller friendly after about half a mile. We were informed of this at the start but chose to do part way anyways. Next time we will not have the strollers in tow and be able to walk further. Kids played in the grass outside the visitor center next to the pavilion and had a great time. Bring sturdy shoes and bug spray- mosquitos were biting but we were prepared. the grounds are very well maintained, cant wait to go back in the fall when the leaves are changing. FYI it is $4/adult to use the trails.

“a little nature in the big city”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

if you like being outdoors, what kind of animals you might be able to find, this is a good place to go. last time I was here saw a big pack of birds just doing their thing, fly very low over head. bring your walking shoes there are a lot of different trails so make sure you grab a map they have available when you arrive so you don't get lost. there are some big uphill paths.

“Unexpected beauty in a residential area of Worcester”
Reviewed January 21, 2013

BMB is a sanctuary run by Mass Audubon. It has an extensive trail system as well as a visitor center. They often host school programs. The trail system is really worth a few or several visits, as it is quite beautiful. Free to Audubon members, I think there is a nominal charge for non members. if you go on a nice summer day, bring a picnic as there is no decent place to eat out there other than chain restaurants on route 20 nearby.
