The Wexford House is one of those local places where you immediately feel comfortable. A mix of "regulars" and visitors mix in two dining areas divided by a bar.
The menu is large with plenty of all-American choices, Middle Eastern and Italian fare. Appetizers include hommus and baba ganoush, both homemade and delicious. Our party enjoyed a fresh lobster roll, clam roll, pine nut encrusted salmon, and roast chicken dinner. Everything was fresh and the vegetable sides were outstanding.
The service is friendly and efficient, with the wait staff greeting regulars by name. Not a fancy place by any means, but if you are looking for a good, home-cooked meal at a reasonable price, the Wexford House will deliver.
