“great beer selection”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

really great place that makes a concerted effort to locally source their food. Menu has shrunk over the last year and half, waitstaff can be surly, and some of the inventiveness has gone from when they were less popular. Beer selection second to none in the Worcester area

“A unique food & beer experience”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

What a great foodie/beer experience. The beer list was expansive and the staff were more than willing to help you try a few before you settled on the right one. Their food focuses on local farms with favoritism towards area cheeses. We enjoyed salad, pizza and mac & cheese. Not a bad word to say about anything we ate. If your looking for an intimate dinner spot this may not be for you since its a wide open space and gets loud pretty quickly.

“A Most Unique, Interesting & Delicious Spot!”
Reviewed December 31, 2012

Being home brewers ourselves and lovers of excellent beer, my sons & I visited Armsby Abbey for a pre-hockey game dinner. I had found it online and it was just a few minutes walk from the DCU center where the game was - perfect!
The place is smallish and cozy and dominated by a huge blackboard listing their 20+ beers on tap, a wonderful selection of imports and domestics. They were out of Hill Farmstead but had Ballast Point Sculpin Ale on tap - delicious! They also had an insane collection of bottles from around the world. Insane... wait till you see it!
Their food menu was so unique, 3/4 of one side was all farm cheeses made by local NE & NY farms. We got a "slate" (they are served on a 12"x12" slate!) of three cheeses that came with home baked bread, cranberry conserve, local honey, and candied pecans. I can't think of anything that would go better with great beer than a cheese tray like this - amazing. We also got a hand tossed pizza with farm cheeses and bacon covered with arugula, and a meat slate with smoked tongue, head cheese, breads, mustard, & pickles - again, all was delicious and paired so well with the varieties of beers we were drinking.
We all agreed that we would be bringing our women here soon!

“Beer!”
Reviewed December 4, 2012

I went to Armsby Abbey for the first time last week, and really enjoyed. The beer list is super extensive and not for the unadventurous, the bartender was great and let us try a few before we settled on a choice. We then shared a salad and a pizza at the bar both which were quite good. The vibe and atmosphere had a great energy, I woud definitely go back here.

“For the beer lover in all of us !”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

If you love craft beer, this is heaven. OMG just too many to choose from in one sitting. We were there at 3'ish on a Sunday and it was standing room only by 5:30 and there were not any shows going on either.

The service was good. The server was knowledgeable about the different selections.

We had one of their pizzas and it was good. Not "oh wow" but good.

I will definitely return.

The total for three beers and the pizza was $45
