“Great food, great service!”
Reviewed August 20, 2013

We had a great experience at the Landfall Restaurant. All the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. We put our name on the list for a table and had time to walk back to our motel to drop our bags and shower. We came back to the restaurant and ordered drinks at the bar. Our table was ready as we got our drinks and they were put on our tab. We ordered a boiled lobster dinner and a seafood dish off the specials menu. Everything was delicious including the salad and Portuguese bread that came with the meal. I feel the prices were in line with other restaurants in Cape Cod. The interior of the building was interesting to check out. Our waitress was great, anticipating our every need without hovering. This place is worth a visit!

“Diner quality food - definitely not worth the price”
Reviewed August 17, 2013

I don't like to give bad reviews, but Landfall was a big disappointment to us. We were traveling with our young adult son who is an undergraduate marine biology major. The restaurant took reservations and had a typical Cape Cod atmosphere with good views of the harbor. We were seated right away. After that, it was all downhill. The menu was limited in our opinion and almost all entrees were priced at $31.00 and above. Salad was served with the entrees - nothing special- lettuce, cucumber and overly sweet (bottled?) dressing. We ordered a mixed broiled seafood platter, a parmesan crusted mixed seafood platter, and a fried seafood platter. There was little difference between the broiled and parmesan crusted seafood dinner. The seafood was in small chunks (which gave the impression of left-over fish), if was impossible to tell which fish you were eating as they were all mixed together, and none were very tasty. The shrimp in both platters were undercooked, and the whole thing was poorly presented. The fried dinner was a little better, nothing special, although my husband thought the calamari was very tender and tasty. We probably won't consider returning.

“Great food, great view!”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

There's something on the menu for everyone, whether you're in the mood for seafood, a burger, or just a salad (and the nobska salad was awesome!). It's great to watch the boats and feel the breeze. The only downside is the lack of adequate parking in Woods Hole. Better if you can get there by walking or biking.

“Best Food, Best View, Best Interior, Best Lobster Bisque”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Went here with a large group of friends--they took our reservation and we were seated right away. The atmosphere was quintessential Cape Cod--really breathtaking. The service was attentive (and we are not an easy group) and the food was delicious. The calamari was lightly battered, and served with hot peppers. The lobster bisque was so filling, I couldn't eat my meal! It was flavorful, creamy, full of lobster and piping hot. Several people in our group got the baked stuffed lobster and it was incredible by all accounts. A great place to experience Cape Cod at its best.

“Great service, great food”
Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I went here for dinner our first night in Woods Hole. We weren't terribly hungry, so we each got the Nobska salad with honey tarragon dressing. So great! I also tried the onion soup (very good) and we split some fish bites (the dill tartar...yum!). We split a bottle of wine which was reasonably priced. The service was great, our server was honest about what was worth trying and what we could skip without regretting...I like that! Prices are a bit high, but such is the Cape.
