“Brilliant trip”
Reviewed June 5, 2013

We went from Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard and returned the same way. Firstly parking facilities were great and a free bus service runs from the various parking lots to the ferry terminal on a regular basis. The only advice would be to make sure you know where you have left your car. When you return the parking lot looks so different, we didn't so it took team minutes to trace it. The boat w great as was the weather so we were able to sit on deck both ways. It Natalie's about 45 minutes and was a. Very comfortable trip. The cost was $8 each way per person which was some much cheaper than the $72 return trip from a competitor based in Hyannis.

“Wonderful Ride..”
Reviewed May 30, 2013

We took the ferry ride from Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs and came back from Vineyard Haven to Woods Hole. The ride was very relaxing. On way back, we had wi-fi on board and the ship was bigger than the first one. There's snack bar aboard the ferry and looots of places to enjoy the beautiful ocean. It's a 45 minute ride.

@ Parking -- We called in advance to check about the parking lot. The parking was quick and easy (10$). We got onto the bus (free shuttle provided by Steamship) from the parking lot which dropped us at the Woods Hole station. Although it was crowded, but it didn't take much time to get the tickets and board the ferry.

“Wonderful experience”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

We hadn't been on a boat for a long time, and my husband has ear/balance problems, but we had no trouble on this ferry. We sat in the enclosed section with our dog, who also enjoyed the trip. It was scenic and relaxing, and the crew are very nice. On our return trip, our dog was the first one up the ramp to the ferry - we think he enjoyed it immensely. It's fascinating watching the cars and other vehicles be loaded and unloaded. This is definitely the ferry I would recommend when going to Martha's Vineyard.
