The best place to view the local sea life without getting wet. But if you don't mind getting wet, check out the touch tanks in the back of the aquarium.....they aren't just for kids.

This is small but much thought was put into the exhibits to make it very child friendly. My husband and I were with friends who have 16 month old daughter. She absolutely loved it! There are touch tanks where children can touch lobsters, tautogs, quahogs, horseshoe crabs, spider crabs, sea stars (starfish), and hermit crabs. She kept wanting to go back to that one. Also many tanks of amazing fish and other marine life. Check out the HUGE turtles displayed on the wall! This was a fun one, and definitely worth putting a donation into the donation box!

Even as slow as I took and read every bit of info, it only took about 15 minutes. It's free though and don't pay too long for parking. We paid for 40 minutes and needed only half that. It's a quaint aquarium with not much info but its free s check it out. Strollers are NOT allowed so FYI.
