Even as slow as I took and read every bit of info, it only took about 15 minutes. It's free though and don't pay too long for parking. We paid for 40 minutes and needed only half that. It's a quaint aquarium with not much info but its free s check it out. Strollers are NOT allowed so FYI.

Stopped by this small aquarium during a day in Woods Hole. Watching the seal being fed and doing a few activities was very informative and interesting. They get quite a crowd for this and the aquarium was packed when we tried to walk through afterward. Would recommend walking through before the seal feeding to avoid the congestion. There is no admission charge, but you can make a donation if you like.

I couldn't say it any better than ClevelandNative71 did. It does not have a lot of "fancy", colorful fish. There are fish native to the Atlantic and MA area. Some very interesting ones. Small kids will really enjoy it. The seal show is entertaining and informative. The touch tank is very popular. It is a small place and won't take a lot of time. I wouldn't take time away from a nice beach day for it and it is of course not comparable to large city aquariums but worth going to on a rainy day. Best of all, it's free!

We went to this aquarium without really knowing what to expect. We absolutely loved it. Each tank is pretty small, but that just allowed us to get good looks at each animal or fish. The explanations on the aquariums were quite helpful.

The best part is the second half, though, when you get to walk past the backs of the tanks! You can see how the tanks work, and get top-down views of the fish. There are also touch tanks, and a tank full of horseshoe crabs. Very fun!

This aquarium is not fancy at all. Don't expect anything like the Boston or Atlanta aquariums. No one is trying to impress you to death. But it is tremendously informative and well worth the hour or two it will take.
