“Excellent food and very friendly staff.”
Reviewed May 27, 2014

This past winter I dropped in here to try out their tapas dishes. The staff was very friendly and make an effort to squeeze as many people they could into this small restaurant. We spent about 90 minutes here for dinner and found all of the food to be excellent. Although we did not find any problems with the portions I thought were a little small for the price. Just for future reference, I would strongly advise to find a table which is AWAY from the door. When we visited this place in the winter, we were literally sitting next to the door and felt the cold breeze coming through the door everytime someone entered or exited. I actually was forced to wear my jacket throughout dinner to keep warm.

To summarize, in order to enjoy excellent food and experience a very friendly staff, I would recommend sitting as far away from the door as possible during the winter.

“Authentic Spanish Tapas and succulent”
Reviewed March 21, 2014 via mobile

They have a varied menu and the place is lively. The sangria is good and strong. The chicken and garlic is the best. So are the mushrooms. Empanadillas are great as well. And dessert. Wow!

“Excellent discovery in Woburn center”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

We just happened to be driving through Woburn center looking for a restaurant on Friday night (3/14) and noticed this new Tapas place that had opened recently. We decided to give it a try and were delighted by the charming staff and the excellent food and sangria. The decor and the Spanish music definitely added to the experience. Hopefully they'll have great success in Woburn because we're looking forward to many future visits!

“Excellent food and friendly service”
Reviewed March 17, 2014

We went here for some food and wine and everything was delicious. We got the homemade chorizo and cheese plate, the lamb chops, chicken croquettes and few other items. The server recommended wine, Grenache which was reasonably prices and went excellent with our food. The staff made us feel like regulars telling us all about the restaurant, the menu and how the restaurant came to be. Definitely a great place I will be back and most likely I will become a regular.

“The taste and the warmth of the real Spain”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

Oh, what a wonderful find for anywhere, let alone downtown Woburn MA! We felt like we had walked into a small town restaurant somewhere in España Profunda, the heart of Spain. Except that here, everyone speaks English in addition to Spanish.
The welcome is so gracious and friendly and the atmosphere is so happy and warm, it seemed that the food just had to be delicious. And it was. All the provisions are very high quality and the preparation is careful and thoughtful.
There's a long list of tapas to choose from, 30 or more. We started with ensalada rusa, a sort of enhanced potato salad, and a chopped salad of octopus and green peppers then moved on to chicken croquettes, house made dry chorizo with manchego cheese, pulpo a la gallega/tender octopus rings seasoned with Spanish paprika, a choripan which was chopped chorizo grilled on a piece of crusty bread, freshly grilled shrimps in a garlic and oil sauce, grilled lamb chops with spicy pil-pil sauce, and finally savory rabbit pieces in pisto, a chunky tomato and green pepper stew. Everything single item was so good, like really, really good. Slices of crusty bread come with to wipe up the wonderful sauces.
We chose a bottle of a hearty red Rioja Crianza, well priced at $32, from the extensive list of reds, whites and one rosé all from various parts of Spain. There's also 4 fine beers on tap for $6 glass.
We were too full and satisfied to even think of dessert but there's a nice selection that looked great and was being appreciated at other tables.
Service is excellent. Pepe the host is a charmer. His lovely wife Gigi is behind the bar. Our handsome waiter Hernan was efficient and gave great advice on ordering. The chef is Joaquim and the man is a star. In fact, everyone on the staff is so hospitable and seem to enjoy their work. Pinxto Pincho is just a fine, fine place to spend an evening of eating and drinking in a restaurant that would do very well in Spain. Let alone downtown Woburn!
