Though we were only there for one night, our experience at Journey's End Lodge made us wish we had extra days to spend in this beautiful house. The beds are comfortable and the rooms quite spacious. We spent a fair bit of time reading in the common areas and enjoying the lovely view from the porch.
Carlos was extremely attentive and friendly. Answered all our questions and was happy to provide recommendations for everything from nice places to eat to nice places to go for a jog. He also happens to be a great cook.
We'd definitely stay here again.

This is a special place. We needed a place to spend a few days coming back to Pennsylvania from a ski trip in Stowe, Vermont. My wife and I spent wonderful two nights in the spacious Mount Cobble Suite. Carlos is the perfect host. Be sure to take the sleigh ride at Sweet Brook Farm while you are in town.

We enjoyed your visit to Journey's End Lodge and look forward to hosting your next visit to the Berkshires. Like you, we also enjoyed skiing in Vermont this winter and appreciated your insights on Stowe. Equally, we appreciated your insights on Sweet Brook Farm. I followed your visit with my own and, while there, bought some Maple Syrup which our guests love. We look forward to your return and enjoying the comforts of Journey's End Lodge.

My husband and I just returned from two blissfully peaceful overnights at Journey's End Lodge in Wiliamstown for our annual Christmas remove from NYC. We stayed in the downstairs suite of this gorgeous lodge which was spacious, comfy, and beautifully furnished (and blessedly doilies free - a rarity in the Berkshires!). Our hosts, Carlos and Alan, proved delightful conversationists during wonderfully prepared breakfasts but were also deeply considerate to provide us space as needed. Amazing cookies also left out which proved irresistible to both of us. This is the perfect Berkshires venue for a quiet getaway or a family gathering with its many cozy areas for conversation. The love and care that went into its creation is evidenced in every way. I can't recommend this lodge and the owners highly enough and we will most certainly be returning.

Room Tip: Loved the spacious lower level suite, equipped with a sofa and large bathroom with jacuzzi.

We spent a glorious two days at the magnificent Journey’s End Lodge
B & B. The accommodations are outstanding. The lodge itself is a work of woody sumptuousness filled with exquisite furnishings that are both visually and artistically beautiful. Our room was spacious and the Jacuzzi added to our feeling of being thoroughly pampered. The pampering continued with the delicious breakfast and many kindnesses showed us in so many ways from providing directions to local sites, restaurants, and delightful conversation.

Thanks to the help of the kindly B & B proprietors our short two day stay was filled with fun and interesting things to do including going to the top of Mount Greylock and its magnificent vistas. We also went to see the beautiful flower bridge in Shelburne Falls, along with the Falls and the fascinating Glacial Pot Holes. All of this was framed by magnificent Fall foliage.

Dear Carlos,

We stayed with you Saturday evening October 12th. I had all kinds of ideas about what to comment on but when I read all the previously posted reviews they had covered all the wonderful compliments about you and Journey's End Lodge! With just a one night stay you create a wonderful atmosphere for guests. The architecture, furniture, music, views from all the windows, the quiet, the food, and not to mention the other interesting guests were all so memorable. One of the most pleasant meals and interesting conversations we've ever had dining with total strangers! I loved hearing about your experiences with cooking. Off course our room was lovely and comfortable, but one thing that would really be nice to have folded up in the closet ready to grab, are those little portable stands that you can place your suitcases on. We hated to rush off away from the fun breakfast conversation, but it is a good thing we did. We got to the top of Mt. Greylock just in time to get one of the last parking spots. Later it was an hour wait to just get up the mtn.! The weather was spectacular up there as we watch many para-sailers and hand gliders run and jump off the side of the mtn.! It was such a fun and different get-a-way. Thanks again. Sincerely yours, Denise & Han

Dear Denise and Han, we really enjoyed meeting you both, sharing recipes and conversation over coffee and, last but not least, we appreciate your suggestion about portable suitcase stands to be put in the closets in each suite. What a great idea! I have a couple of places in mind where I might be able to locate and buy such stands. Thanks very much for your suggestion and be assured that when you return home to Journey's End, hopefully for a longer stay, you will have a suitcase stand.

Best Wishes,
