We went to the '6 House Pub right before we had tickets to a Williamstown Theater Festival matinee, about five minutes away. Soon after sitting down, we overheard an actress at the theater (we know her from tv & movies) complaining about the service. We should have seen this as ominous and left, but no...
As we were seated, we told the hostess/ server we had a curtain soon. Then we told the waitress when we ordered about our theater tickets. We got our drinks but waited and waited and waited for our food. Even though we were *starving*, we tried to leave without our food, so we could make it to the theater. But they said it was cooked, it just needed to be packed up. Packing it up seemed to take *forever.* We got our food for half price, but had to bolt it down, cool, during intermission. The two waitresses seemed to be responsible for the whole restaurant that we could see, indoors and outdoors, plus perhaps a wedding or some other private party in the next room. A singularly *bad* meal, with NO communication between the staff and kitchen!
