“There's a reason the line is so long...”
Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

... and it's 'cause the place is that good. My favorite part was the lady behind the counter who talked spiderman with our son. Now that is service! Oh... the coffee is really good as are the muffins and quiche. We will be back!

“Always the best”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

There is always a buzz at Tunnel City; students, town folk, visitors, profs. Here is the best coffee, best muffins, best pastries, (and whatever you might wish for a healthy munch) and a very fluid and open setting. Seriously, the blueberry muffins, homemade every day, are the best. There are other places for hanging out in Williamstown. Tunnel City, if you are headed for Spring Street, is the best choice, imho.

“Great coffee within walking distance”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

We had really great coffee here (and pretty okay scones... not the best, but fine). With the wonderful coffee and espresso available, I was surprised they didn't have more of an assortment of breakfast pastries, but it seems they focus more on honest-to-goodness desserts.

Fine with me! The coffee was fantastic and the staff was knowledgable and quick.

“Better than starbucks”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

When you are asked if you would like our cappuccino foam wet or dry, you know you are in good hands. Fantastic space for sitting and relaxing with art, indoor..outdoor options. Fantastic coffee and opens early. Loved it.

“Love the ambience”
Reviewed August 7, 2013

It is great during summer when I don't have to battle for seats with the college students. It is such joy to enjoy my coffee and muffin, listening to classical music in a lovely garage style setting.
