Although we were excited about finding a Mexican restaurant in the Berkshires, our expectations weren't very high. We've lived in Texas and had some really good Mexican food over the years. We were pleasantly surprised by how good Coyote Flaco is. We arrived pretty late, but that wasn't a problem for them. The atmosphere is (nice) traditional Mexican; colorful, etc. We sat in the bar, which we'd recommend. The ambiance seemed better in that room (or sit at the very nice bar, where I think you can eat also). They were very accommodating, switching flour for corn tortillas, substituting sides, etc. The food was very good. Good salsa with a delicious chicken salad salsa as a free app as well. Good margaritas. We had a nice conversation with the owner, Galo (which may not be spelled right). He is a very nice man; dedicated to his business. It's really off the beaten track, but it's worth finding. We highly recommend it.
