Good food, friendly and helpful staff. We heard they offered good food, and the recommendation was right. Not too expensive either.

The man behind the counter, known by insiders as Poppy, is the friendliest and finest cook around. I am a Williams College student and drive here nearly every day for the best steak egg and cheese, home fries and relaxing atmosphere. If it was my last day on earth I'd spend ten minutes at terra cafe.

Don't be put off by the strip mall location and decor. The food is definitely many cuts above. Today I had the vegetarian Medi Melt, a perfectly grilled sandwich filled with wonderfully seasoned zucchini and yellow squashes, fresh greens, tomatoes, roasted sweet red peppers and pesto (and only $8). Everything is creative, fresh, and delicious. It's also the go-to place for breakfast with excellent coffee, a huge selection of loose tea, and a selection of healthy and hearty dishes. They've also now added Bart's ice cream and some terrific desserts. Service is friendly. The decor is tacky.

They have George Howell's coffee!! (The founder of Coffee Connection, and now running his own roasting business.) Seven of us came for breakfast, everything was very good. Breakfast sandwiches, home fries, yum.

It was time for us to get something to eat on our way into the Berkshires and we were fortunate enough to stop here. The food was really fresh and delicious! I had a wonderful salad and my sister had a yummy sandwich. We took our time savoring our dishes and then decided that we couldn't leave without trying the local ice cream. Also excellent! Thanks for the great, friendly service, too!
