It was a cold, rainy day, but the games were fun to watch. They could use some porta-johns nearby, though. Beautiful location....

“Excellent College, Beautiful college setting.”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

We visited the area due to my son being interested in the school itself for 2014. I must say the school is exceptional in everything they so, so being a student here must be an honor and privilege. You will notice the school spirit and their intense passion, and though this can be said of other schools, it was a feeling transmitted from the moment you walked in. My complements to the staff at admissions and in special to all the students that make the tour part of their own experience. To share what they go through and just their day to day in an open and honest way goes to show the students they are and people they will be in society. Congratulations.

“Beautiful college, breathtaking scenery in the mountains of western Mass.”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

Took a ride to see Williams College (#1 liberal arts college in the country). It was well worth the drive. Rt. 2 (Mohawk Trail) is just an amazing drive. Winding roads with nice stops to take pictures of the mountains. Williamstown has some cute shops but we didn't park and it was move-in day for students and didn't feel like competing for a spot. The buildings are amazing and will go back again to explore further but this time when the leaves are changing.

“Potpourri of architecture and country charm”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

This is hardly review of the college. We just walked through the campus and admired pseudo-roman and pseudo-classic and neo-gothic architecture, green lawns and were watching happy faces of students walking across. All looked great except gym shorts worn by girls. The college should hire a designer to modify the gym shorts. Even long leg girls look in those shorts terrible. It might be a sexist comment but I plea for consideration. Help these girls look nice if they do not know better.

“Worth a visit, even if you don't have a college student”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

While Williams College may the the 18th most expensive college in the country, it is worth a visit, because those are free. I may be biased, but I know that when I go visit other colleges, for whatever reason, I am often struck by how shabby they look compared to Williams. Williams takes excellent care of it's campus, which makes it nice to just walk around. Once the new library opens, and the construction is done (Fall of 2014 at the earliest), it will be a wonderful quiet place to enjoy the wonderful Berkshire weather. The college museum is definitely worth a few hours, and there is wonderful food to be had on Spring Street, which is surrounded by the campus.
