As part of a large group staying at the Inn, we had superb service from check-in to check-out! Michele was able to assist with recommendations in town, which was great for this Aussies' first time in Williamstown!
Lucas was our MVP for our conference His service was absolutely fantastic, handled all our orders like a pro, introduced me to Josh Turner music and can belt out a good tune!
My room was always very well cleaned and was quite spacious. Would have loved a fitness centre, but I hear that is coming with the new Inn.

I had the pleasure of staying at your Inn last week and had a great time. I was part of a large group that enjoyed 3 days in your facility.
Your staff could not have been any greater. From check in to check out, every attention was given to make us feel welcomed and valued.
Upon check out, Megan and Michele showed genuine concern that our needs had been met. They were friendly, professional and funny and a perfect end to a long weekend.
Lucas poured a generous drink (or 10) and juggled tons of orders without a single fluster. He was awesome.

Parts of the hotel were wonderful, my biggest problem was the rooms were small and in many needs of updates, Furniture should be updated. Bathrooms small. Rooms small. Not a lot space for 3 people in one room. Staff wonderful.
I am glad you found our staff and parts of the hotel wonderful. I'm not sure which room type you where in but we do based on availability have other room types that may provide you more space. At this time we are not updating anything as we are moving out and into our bran new hotel/restaurant scheduled to open Summer 2019. We look forward to you visiting the new property.
The staff is friendly, the food is fine and the location is great, but this is one tired, threadbare property. There is a (good) reason the College is building a new hotel nearby. BTW, if the new hotel has a pool (this one has a small one), it needs to open well before 8am and your guests need to be able to swim without a lifeguard present (esp since they don't get in until mid morning).
I am glad you found the staff friendly, the food and location great. Yes, our building over the decades have seen better days but we do our best to keep everything cleaned and well maintained. The new property will have a fitness center only and not a swimming pool. We hope you get a chance to visit the new hotel/restaurant when we open later this summer.
We had a charity event there and were disappointed that we were charged a lot more than what was originally promised. Our participants were not allowed to sit in the dining room and they blocked off half the tables in the bar for no one. We were all crowded to one side. They ran out of food and several kinds of liquor. Staff started announcing "one sandwich only." Lots of people in the group went out to restaurants because they didn't have enough food.
I'm sorry that you feel you did not get what you received. I believe you responded to the wrong property as your description does not reflect any event that we have had. We recently hoisted a medical conference not a charity event and most of the reviews from that event has been mostly 5's. I would be happy to discuss this with you via phone or email if you choose to reach out. I can assure you we would not announce "one sandwich only" and we have a full bar so in a case of running out of a particular beverage, we would have multiple options to recommend.
