Just returned from Williams Previews program for son who was accepted into class of 2014. Motel was located about 4 minutes from Williams. This is not a 5-star hotel and not meant to be. The price was quite reasonable, the room was immaculate, the facilities worked well, the wi-fi was free and fast, the beds were quite comfortable and the phone service was also free. Location is on Route 7 which is quite convenient but also means that there will be some road noise, especially starting around 6 AM.

Breakfast was included and consisted of a large assortment of cold cereals and hot oatmeal and bagels and muffins and pastries and excellent coffee, assorted teas and fresh juice. It was presented in a large, beautifully appointed dining area. As others have mentioned, Mark and Jill could not have been more hospitable. Hospitality is clearly their calling and they are dedicated to making sure their guests have whatever they need to make their stays enjoyable. As my son begins his 4 years at Williams, I have no doubt we will be staying here several times a year.

Our daughter is a Senior at Williams College and whenever we are in town we gladly stay with Jill and Mark. (We will miss them when she graduates) The accomodations are perfect, Jill and Mark are gracious hosts. There is no reason to look elsewhere.

Enjoy your visit at the Berkshire Hills Motel.

We held a little high school mini-reunion with eight couples. The owners were extremely accomodating. The place is cheerful with a nice breakfast room and lovely grounds. Very convenient to the Williamstown and North Adams museums but at a reasonable price. Also not far from Jacob's Pillow and Tanglewood.

My wife and I have stayed here on several occasions in recent years. The owners and hosts are friendly and helpful and for all practical purposes the ambiance is that of a B&B. Breakfast is ample consisting of orange juice, a choice of dry cereals, bagels, English muffins, banana, and some pastries, the breakfast room ample in size and embracing a charming deck decorated with flowers. Indeed flowers bedeck the property which includes a swimming pool and chairs outside the rooms for reading. While located on route 7, a major through road, we were not disturbed by excessive road noise perhaps because this is an older structure. Rooms are not gargantuan but adequate in size, nicely furnished and decorated, and include an air conditioner for warm summer days. This is not a luxury operation but one managed by live-in owners who care for their clientele and property.
