“Great thearter off Broadway”

Great thearter with name actors. Get tickets early as they are often sold out. Same is true for dinner reservations and accommodations in the area

“amazingly good 3 in a row”
Reviewed September 1, 2011

My husband and I have seen WTF's productions for years. For regional theatre, this is as good as it gets.

We went in August with friends for 3 shows--all admirable, sophisticated, beautifully
acted and, in one case, sung. If you're going to the Berkshires in summer, spend time in
Williamstown. The college museum has a good collection & WTF is just down the street.

“So much fun!”
Reviewed August 21, 2011

A friend, her daughter, and I were in Williamstown for one weekend. We saw an outdoor performance of "The Comedy of Errors," and on the main stage, "A Doll's House," and after that the late night cabaret.

Wow! Just wow! Really. All great stuff. If you're considering going, go!

“Amazing plays, superbly acted, well done: GREAT THEATER!”
Reviewed July 29, 2011

We saw "A Doll's House" with a new translation, which I believe is about 100% better than the one I read in college. The acting was superb. The costumes and sets were amazing. Chosing to set in 1970's was an off choice, for this is a play that is firmly rooted to the late 19th Century.
If you get the opportunity to attend a play here, DO IT!!!

“If you can find any way to get there...”
Reviewed July 9, 2010

If you can find any way to see A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum at the Williamstown Theatre Festival, you're set for happy memories of Summer 2010. The show is a hoot and someone should get this cast on stage today. I'd go to see it again in a heartbeat.
