“indian find”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 18, 2012

Tucked away into a corner but not really hard to find, it has the best Indian food in the area. Try the eggplant - just spicy enough with wonderful flavors. All sorts of interesting naan, and a varied menu.

“A Taste of Katmandu”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2012

When I returned to the USA from Nepal I missed the delicious Nepali food and I never expected to find it in the USA. I was amazed to find this delightfully authentic restaurant in Weymouth! The menu is incredibly inclusive, the dishes are Nepali and Indian and are as complex and aromatic as what I found in Asia. The Momos are delicious, wonderful dumplings that are habit forming!
I've eaten here often and never been disappointed, it's reasonably priced and the food is wonderful!
The gentlemen who run this place are steeped in the hospitality that made me enchanted with Nepal, they treat their customers with gracious good manners always welcoming their guests with genuine caring. Every visit here is a pleasant experience.
Named for a Himalayan mountain that looks like a fishtail, this restaurant is a charming taste of Asia right here in Weymouth!

“A Gem on the South Shore”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2012

The Nepalese selections are wonderful, particularly the Momos. They're delicious dumplings, steamed with chicken or lamb or vegetable filling. The side relishes are fabulous -- a yogurt dipping sauce, a sweet sauce, a hot onion relish, and a mint sauce. I took a friend who has eaten around the world and she loved the place!

“Better than Kathmandu...”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 16, 2012

For an Indian Food fan, this place can't be beat. Authentic flavors and spices abound I hope this place develops a following, as it is a bit out of place in the South Weymouth/North Abington universe where canned peas are standard fare. Indian/Nepal food fans would be well served to drive twenty miles for this great food.

“Definitely try it!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2011

I enjoy indian cuisine and have been here thee times. The food is really good, especially the naan bread. I have had the meat and vegetable simosas, the Chicken Korma (I LOVE),and the variety of dipping sauces with flatbread they give as you look over the menu. Once, my husband was adventurous and tried the regional specialty, goat dish, and it was tough and he did not enjoy it (this could be a cultural thing). Otherwise, the people are very nice and friendly and the only drawback is that the food sometime takes a really long time to prepare, even if the restaurant is not busy (the only reason I am not giving it a 5). So, don't go here if you are in a hurry, but we think the food is worth the wait. Oh - try the mango lassi.
