Very nice typical Hampton Inn experience. Great breakfast. The hotel is in good shape and has been updated. The rooms were very comfortable with adequate A/C (necessary while we were there!). If you are into the macabre, while you are in town go visit the Lizzie Borden house (take the tour, it's worth it).

We truly appreciate your trip advisor review, thank you! We work tirelessly each day to uphold the Hampton Inn Standards. Thank you for noticing. Our hotel was renovated 3 years ago and our staff does a great job at upkeeping it. Our breakfast hostess will be pleased to know that breakfast was good, I will pass that information along. I must give the LIzzie Borden tour a try. Have not yet been there. Thank you for the suggestion.

Had issues. Dog smell very promient in room. Very dark in room. Had to ask for toiletries. Bathroom not very clean. Very noisy from other guest on floor. Hallway carpets stained. Spoiled milk used for cereal.

You will be pleased to know that our carpets were professional cleaned Wednesday July 24th. We apologize for the pet odor. We have noticed a difference with the carpets being recently cleaned. Hopefully that took care of the pet odor. Our popularity for wedding guests during the summer weekends are usually the cause for over zealous celebration. We try our best to quiet them, when we are made aware of it. We apologize for what you experienced at our facility. We usually receive favorable comments and are disappointed that we let you down. Loved the lay out of the room. Loved how helpful they were to all of us. Thought it should have been $50 less a night for old er folks.. we don't party, we don't make a mess. we sleep and leave...but I give it a high rating anyway

We decided to take a week long vacation from Connecticut but decided to stay close to home and so we chose this particular Hampton Inn. It was not too far from Newport, RI so we could see the mansions, and also close enough to go whale watching. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. We havetwo kids (4 and 7) and they had a great time in the pool. The staff was also very considerate of the kids wanting to make their own hot chocolate many times a day, even though it meant cleaning up a mess most times. The kids also enjoyed making their own waffles at the hot breakfast each morning. We all had a very enjoyable stay, and I'll would highly recommend staying here.

Clean quiet rooms, good climate control, excellent complimentary breakfast. Indoor pool was clean and not too cold, not too warm. All for a bargain price. My only complaint would be that the free Wi-Fi gets pretty slow later in the evening.

From the moment I entered the lobby doors, I was received with warmth. I have had occasion to stay in many Hampton Inns across the US and without a doubt, this was by far my best experience. The industry that I support is a tedious one. To be able to come "home" after a 12 hour day to the comforts of what the Westport staff offered was a joy. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Overall very pleasant experience - staff was freindly and attentive, pool was nice, free continental breakfast was great - lots of options. Only complaint was the [in room] bathroom a bit dinghy. 2 Queen bed would have been more comfy than 2 double beds.

Marcela, we have noted your concern of dingy bathrooms. We wish we could outfit our double rooms with 2 queen beds, the space in the guestroom would not allow us to do that.
