Boring town with not much to do in the area. Hotel is clean. Breakfast is weak. Need to have something available for late night eating. Everything in the area closes at 10pm. I would stay in a hampton inn again just in a different town.

Hello Hector G -

The town of Westport offers Horseneck Beach, Westport Rivers Winery and Bowling. Fall River, 5 minutes away offers: Battleship Cove, Marine Museum in Fall River and The Lizzie Borden House. If you have a car and do not mind a 30 minute drive the following destinations are accessible: Newport with the Mansions, Shipping Yards and other attractions, Providence with shopping, nightlife and sight seeing.

Most of the local restaurants do close at 11PM, as they just do not have the foot traffic a larger city would have. Pizza delivery offers another option. We are glad you enjoyed the cleanliness.
Our hot breakfast is usually a popular item with guests: Make your own Belgian Waffles, different hot items that change daily, such as omlets or scrambled eggs with a breakfast meat such as sausage, ham or bacon. We also have hard boiled eggs, oatmeal, regular cereal, muffins, danish, bagels, toast and fresh fruit.

Everything was great with the exception that it would have been nice to have refrigerator in our room to keep a few drinks cold. We also couldn't take our left overs from the Gallery to our room for later as they would have spoiled. We could have taken them home had we been able to keep them cold until our departure.

I would recommend this hotel to any person that was staying in the area. The attitude of all staff was of the utmost priority. A smiling face any which way you turned. Always helpful and courteous. Thank you for a pleasant and very relaxing stay.

The Hampton Inn hotel has become our go-to hotel because of the consistency of its quality. Beds are comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and well-arranged, complimentary breakfasts are good, wireless access is free and reasonably fast, and prices are usually reasonable. It was a little more difficult to navigate to this particular hotel because of its location relative to freeway exits and entrances, but this was a minor inconvenience. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Great to know that we met your expectations and that you have not yet been disappointed when staying at a Hampton Inn. We have high standards to adhere to as a Hilton Branded Property. We pride ourself on our cleanliness and friendly staff.

When traveling here, we can be a little tricky if you are traveling west on 195 from The Cape Cod area. It is exit 10 with a right turn on rte 6. Rte 6 with a right turn at the lights and a quick left turn.

Good accomodations and good service. Very convenient location to Fall River and Westport, MA areas. Pretty good value with good ammenities including complimentary breakfast. I traveled for business but would also be a good family stay.

There are plenty of things to do in our area for Families; Battleship Cove, Horseneck Beach, Buttonwood Zoo, Roger Williams Zoo in Providence, Maritime Museum in New Bedford and of course Newport is not too far away. Using our hotel as a base is a great strategy. Boston is even a commutable day trip, a little less than an hour away.

While there's nothing exceptional about this motel, it's a good place to stay and provides all the services and benefits of a Hampton Inn. The breakfast room was quite busy on a Sunday morning, but I appreciated the fact that they had enough food and equipment (like a continuous toaster) to move the crowd through without waiting. Rooms aren't large and, somehow, the double beds looked a little smaller than "normal" to me (I wouldn't want to share one), but they are functional.

I agree with the posters about the difficulty of finding the hotel going westbound on I-195. It's all interesting to try to get back on the highway westbound. See how good your GPS is.

As a previous poster noted, this motel is an exceptional value in the Hilton HHonors program, as it requires fewer points than most other comparable motels.

Yes, we are very busy late Spring, all Summer and the beginning of Fall during the weekends. Folks tend to eat breakfast on Sunday later and therefore if you plan an earlier start during the weekends breakfast tends not to be as busy. Our breakfast hostesses work hard at replenishing breakfast to satisfy our guests.

If you are traveling West on 195, it can be a little tricky. Having a GPS is always adviseable, however it is exit 10 off of the 195 West.

Thank you for acknowledging the fact that we are a good value. The Newport, Providence and The Cape can have much more expensive prices and while it is a few minutes extra to travel we feel we are a good value.

This is probably the fourth or fifth time we have stayed here. The staff goes out of their way to help you. And of course we always love the Hampton beds and the breakfast! Nice restaurant right across the parking lot
