we were attending a funeral in the area and stayed overnight. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating. the lobby was nicely decorated and welcoming. room was great.had everything in it, fridge, micro, iron,coffee pot and flat screen tv. great comfortable on the bed. bathroom was nice to...looked like new and had plenty of room. the room was spotless. downstairs they served the breakfast. plenty of choices and the room was very inviting... great coffee, which was available 24 hours-.a staff member was on site to make sure the food was replenished and you had everything you needed. would definitely stay there again and would recommend it highly

We stayed at this property for my stepson's wedding. We found the property to be clean and well-maintained. The free breakfast set up was very nice - lots of choices, both hot and cold. Coffee was surprisingly good - and I'm a fanatic about my coffee! The staff was friendly and helpful; rooms were made up promptly. There is an indoor pool which was nice. As there is no restaurant, there is no room service. The only drawbacks are the area, which is depressing, and lack of decent restaurant choices. There is a small restaurant on the adjacent property (White's of Westport, where the wedding was held), but the food wasn't that good and the menu was limited. We drove to Barnstable for one dinner, and the Cape for another. Hotel is right off the Interstate, but was quiet. If you have other choices, I would recommend skipping this property. I am not a Hampton Inn fan, but I was pleasantly surprised by the room and service.

Thank You for the nice comments about our hotel and staff. We need to make you a Hampton Fan! I am surprised that restaurant choices in our area was lacking. Hope you can stay with us again so we can show you that you can have both a nice stay and nice dining in our area.

Paint was chipping on the ceiling over my bed. Hair on "clean" duvet cover and in bathtub. No fridge in the room.

Unfortunately, this seemed like the nicest hotel within the Fall River area. Save yourself the trouble of having limited accommodation and nice restaurant choices, and stay 20-30 minutes away and drive to the area if necessary. I know I will next time.

Room Tip: If you need a fridge, make sure you ask for a room that has one upon checkin. Not all do.

I really appreciate your taking the time to let us know of your disappointment in not having a refrigerator in your room. We have a note that the desk did offer to move you to a room with a refrigerator but you declined. Most like our New England small town, sorry it did not please you, perhaps a summer visit would work better. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. We are sorry for your disappointment.

This is our 5th stay in the Inn and as usual it was good with a few small bumps in the road. The rooms are always clean and the furnishings are very good. Breakfast at this Hampton Inn is among the best of the Hampton Inns. They fare is what you usually find at the Hampton Inn, but they do add some extras that make their breakfast something unique. The staff is very efficient. We did have a problem with the TV in our room and I have to say that the maintenance man was at the door within three minutes. He took care of the problem and showed me how to adjust the TV if the problem happened again, which it did. It seems they are initiating new system and they don't have the bugs worked out quite yet. The other bump in the road was at about 10:15pm someone above us was using an air hammer which made a lot of noise. We called the desk and they said no construction was taking place and they would investigate. Within 5 minutes the air hammer stopped. The interesting part of this, is down at breakfast the next day I heard one of the men sitting close to my wife and I say that he must have been annoying his neighbor last night when he was using his air hammer. You really have to wonder what people are thinking sometimes.

Its not easy to get to this hotel the first time due to the location. Signage was barely adequate, probably due to zoning restrictions of the residential neighborhood in which the hotel is located. But, its easy to get into and out of the location once you finally figure out how to get to the hotel the first time.

On my annual travel to Fall River Mass., our Ms. Senior Sweetheart Pageant ladies stay at the Hampton Inn. In the 11 years, I have always been happy to return to this Hampton Hotel since I have always been pleased with the staff because they treat you like family. Make no mistake, the professional atmosphere, cleanliness, comfort, and efficiency is never lacking. This year was no exception. Unfortunately, on our last day, it was expected that Hurricane Sandy would blow into town. Immediately our group experienced the stress and challenges of airline cancellations, and motor travel. From the Hampton,the compassion from the top down was evident. Morning meals continued as usual but then management provided a full dinner (buffet style) for hotel guests waiting to get out. Throughout each day, the fruit availability, coffee and tea were so welcome. What more can you ask for from a hotel?
