Loved everything about it. The food, the service and the ambiance. Prices are a little steep but worth it occasionally.

The restaurant proper was not open, so we dined in the pub area. It was comfortable and casual. The french onion soup was excellent; entrees decent. The most exceptional feature was the service. The waitress was respectfully attentive and anticipated our needs, doing all she could to make it a pleasurable dining experience. Overall, a decent meal in a relaxed atmosphere.

My family enjoyed The tavern on a warm Sat. evening. The outside patio is very nice to lounge with drinks. Our food was delicious and the waitress was extremely helpful. It's also a great
place to listen to talented local entertainers.

We had a small gathering of about 45 people in an upstairs room. Service was excellent, and not obtrusive. Food came out promptly. Homemade croutons on the salad were a nice touch. The steak was cooked perfectly, with delicious sides of broccoli and mashed potatoes. Everyone at my table ate every bite, even the picky eaters. I was impressed that the steak was rare and hot, and that they served the whole party within a few minutes. The old barn we were in was furnished comfortably: I liked the giant balls of Bittersweet vines they had made in to "chandeliers". I would definitely come here again.

Beautiful presentation on line, and great recommendation from the hotel...it is a very appealing venue...the food was way below par...couldn't even eat the "free dessert"...both of our entrees were overcooked and served with bland/dry white rice...the vegetables weren't eatable...I will say the balsamic dressing was great..and the bread and honey butter were also good...you have a beautiful venue..the food doesn't match up. Very disappointing.

I am sorry to hear that the food at Bittersweet Farm did not meet your expectations. I will bring it to the attention of our chef. We encourage anyone who is not satisfied with their service or food to bring it to the attention of the Manager at the time of their visit so that we have the opportunity to make it right. I apologize, again, for the poor experience, and do hope you will give us another chance if you are in the area in the future.
