We have been to the Outlook plenty of times, and had decided to try the newer tiki bar.
We won't be going back.
There is a nice swim area and little beach, which was a great draw for the kids.
The drinks were overpriced and overfull with ice.
Service as a whole was very slow, but it was busy for a Wednesday night, so we chalked it up to that.
Ordered drinks...waited for an abnormally long time.
Waited longer...and longer...finally got the waitress to come back and take our food order.
More waiting (do you see a trend here?) and waiting.
Finally she came over to say she was just waiting on one more thing and would bring everything together.
Got the food (including the item she said she was waiting on)....and still waited for one person's meal.
Everyone in our group was done eating before the last item came out.
The waitress was very apologetic for the delay.
There was two different bands/singers while we were there. I think we sat a bit too close to the stage area as we could not talk among ourselves as it was too loud.
(Actually, the second singer was quieter, but not very good at all)
Our waitress really did try, you could tell she had been given more tables than she could comfortably handle (it was really busy for a Wednesday night).
I cannot complain about her, it was not her fault if items were not ready.
We just were not impressed as a whole.
It's a neat concept, but it needs work.
