We always like to try new restuarants in the hope of finding places to return to in the future. Emma's turned out to have wonderful food - I had the Gorgonzola Pasta with a dinner salad and my partner had a Al Forno Pasta with a dinner salad. Both dishes were well prepared and tasty. The staff were attentive, our server Andy checked in the right amount of time to ensure we had everything we needed and other staff walking by with the water pitcher made sure to fill our glasses.

The restuarant is small and well decorated. If you do not know Westfield use your GPS to find the location. The parking lot is small - we went at around noon on a Friday so had no problem but I can see how parking might be difficult.

Our one complaint is the TV - this is a small resturant so the oversized TV above the bar looked out of place. In addition, having Fox News on while people are dining - come on folks trying to make your patrons ill. Play some nice music, with a low volume, instead of the TV and you would have recevied an Excellent instead of a Very Good.

I never would have suspected such a quaint, charming place in this location. We were greeted with smiles from everyone there and felt immediately at home. There are some unique items on the menu and it was tough to narrow it down . We had the mozzarella block, which was oozing and hot with a crispy crust and yummy red sauce, Chicken Al Forno and another pasta dish completed our main courses. The pasta fagioli has a delicious, thick broth, but a bit too many beans. The pasta and chicken dish were excellent and tasty, though a bit more sauce would have been nice . By the time we got to the bottom of the pasta, there was no sauce left. We topped it off with the house made tiramisu, done right, with real whipped cream and traditional mascarpone, not frozen.. Overall, this was a perfect place for what we wanted that night. I would love to come again and try another unique meal. I have to say that the service was warm, friendly, thorough, timely and careful. Excellent choice, Don't hesitate to locate this out of the way gem.

Outstanding Italian food. We decided "let's try it" one day, and it has rapidly become our favorite restaurant in Westfield. This is a newer restaurant on a traditional restaurant site on the corner of Washington Street and Arnold Street. We have been there several times, and every item we have ordered has been excellent. Good variety on the menu and everything is well-prepared. It get packed full on weekends; easy to get seated quickly on weekdays. Creative specials, exceptional value for the prices.

We recently enjoyed a nice dinner at Emma's in Westfield, MA with friends who asked us to meet them there for dinner. It is hidden away on a side street so be sure to get directions if you are not familiar with Westfield.

Pleasantly surprised with the overall experience and delighted with the excellent service and hospitality from all the staff at this restaurant. The grilled chicken with garlic was so delicious that I would definitely order that again. Everyone enjoyed their meals and it was a nice restaurant to meet up with friends. There were a couple of large families enjoying meals together and having a great time as well.
