“Arturo's serves the best Italian Food in MetroWest.”

It is no surprise that Arturo’s is the number one rated restaurant in Westborough, it has outstanding food, a great staff and an on-site chef-owner.

The food from the menu is great, but an even bigger treat is the daily specials – I have eaten there several times recently and have enjoyed two wonderful veal dishes – the veal saltimbocca may be the best I have ever enjoyed. The beef tenderloin is my favorite – an 8 ounce fillet that is accompanied by wonderful sauces, red wine reduction, horseradish to name a few. It generally runs around $30, but it is a meal that you would pay $45-50 in Boston.

The pizza is also outstanding, we drive from the next town, passing by numerous pizza joints, to get the wonderful flatbread pizza’s from Arturo’s.

I have always enjoyed excellent service, whether in the dining room or at the bar. The bar area is comfortable, with a large number of regulars who either stop by to have dinner or just a drink, and the most important think you need to know about the bar is that it is staffed with folks that know how to make a drink the right way, and know the selection of beer and wines (30 by the glass) like the back of their hand. Where it is Sue, Silene, Mike or Claudine, you will get a great drink and service.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is lively with its open floor and kitchen.

I enjoy every visit to Arturo’s, and I am sure you will too!

“Sadly discovered on the last day of trip..”

Had the special salad of arugula with a balsamic raspberry dressing, finished with strawberries and sliced almonds, crumbled cheese, as a starter.

Main course: gnocchi olivo-potato gnocchi with a fresh tomato and olive sauce.

Great bruscetta. Tomatoes, garlic and basil.
Peter Lehmann Shiraz. (Great choice of wines).
Colleague had pappardelle with a lobster cream sauce. Looked well balanced and tasty.

Other colleague selected the meatball pizza.
We all loved our food.

Efficient service, great food.....similar price to eating at the Doubletree.

“Middling fare”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 8, 2012

Or rather large group was well attended by the servers. Wine selection was as good as our palates could want. Opinions about the food were mixed. My mixed salad was good, the grilled pears were fixed to perfection and a delightful contrast to the gorgonzola. I very much enjoyed the pappardelle bolognese. Several of my colleagues had the pasta Napoli. Everyone thought it was an original concept that no one liked as the sauce was anything but light, largely because it had been excessively sweetened. We sampled the desserts and came away unimpressed, leaving them all unfinished.

“Very good food”

The atmosphere was rather plain. It could be updated but the food is great! We would go back again. There were many good choices on the menu.

“Food is always good”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012

We have been here several times and have never been disappointed. The food is always well prepared and the pasta is never overcooked. I got chicken broccoli and ziti. The broccoli was fresh and perfectly cooked and the chicken seemed to be of high quality. The wait staff is professional and the management is very visible walking about the restaurant.
You should make a reservation at peak times for sure. Try not to be seated in the back room as it seems pretty noisy when busy.
