Description: Welcome to Harry's Restaurant, family owned and operated for two generations. A roadside diner serving some of the best fried clams in Metrowest. Harry's, known as a route 9 hangout, has been around since 1946. The decor is vinyl galore, but you can expect some of the freshest home cooking anywhere around. Stop by and enjoy our menu full of classic American home style dishes. Sure, we get a bit fancy here and there, but only to make the food taste extra special. After all, down home doesn't mean down scale. Harry's " one of the few places serving dinner past midnight " bills itself as "the place for fried clams," and the claim's legit. The clams (both with bellies and the sacrilegious strips) are tender.

“Great local place”

The menu is probably 10 pages long and the font isn't even that big - they just have an insane selection. Everything I've had here is delicious, but the line can be long during meal hours because all the locals eat here.

“Great clams and chowdah”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

This is a hole-in-the-wall diner that is a real local favorite. If you go at a peak time, there'll be a line out the door. It's an experience. My personal favorite: a zippyburger and a raspberry-lime rickey.

“Roadside dining at its finest”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

Harry's is a wonderful blast from the past- a diner where your meal is prepared by honest to goodness cooks daily, from scratch. From soup to dessert, everything is proudly prepared onsite and everything tastes so good. Friday's are famous for the fish and chips, but I usually tend to go for the chili and cheese fries and the hotdog. Just delicious. The breakfasts are always plentiful and delicious as well, have never been disappointed by anything here. They serve beer and wine, but you may want to go for a frappe- yum yum. The drawbacks: very crowded seating and cash only.

“Good service and food, little pricey for a diner”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

Harry's has always been a great spot for a quicker and decent quality meal. I have enjoyed it for years. If you are looking for seafood, this is probably a good place to get it in the area because they have so many options. The prices on somethings do seem a little high, but they are not unreasonable. It's diner food, so it shouldn't be as expensive as a regular restaurant. Good ice cream and frappes! Also, they don't accept credit cards so make sure you have cash or you can use the ATM they have inside the diner.

“Friendly in every way”
Reviewed December 28, 2012

Enjoyed a Friday fish night at Harry's. The clam chowder was delicious and at $3.99 a cup a deal, lots of clams not just potatoes. Fish and chips for $7.99 was a bargain. The baked haddock, not so much. The topping did nothing for the delicious fresh fish. Harry's now has a modest assortment of beer and wine, but that will bloat the bill. The hostess and waitstaff are friendly and efficient. Atomosphe is strictly old school.
