“Clam chowder and lobster roll!!!”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

I have to admit that the wait time is annoying especially when you have a child in your party. We were able to squeeze in at a table in the bar while we waited and the others at the table were friendly and considerate. They went off to their table in the restaurant which left us with an acceptable table. We all had the clam chowder which may very well be the best I have ever had! We tried a variety of items including the lobster roll which was also one of the best we have ever found!!! Others on the Cape didn't come close to Captain Parker's! If you plan ahead and expect the long wait time, the food is absolutely some of the best on the Cape!!!

“Ok, but not worth a 90 minute wait!”
Reviewed August 14, 2013 via mobile

This place came highly recommended by friends, and while the hostess told us the wait was 60-90 minutes, we really didn't expect to wait that whole time ( and then some!). The fact that we saw at least 3 tables sit empty for half an hour added to our impatience. Granted, we should have managed our expectations better. But, alas, the food just wasn't that great. Perfectly acceptable clam chowder and steamed lobster, but everything was just a little slapdash. Don't quite see why this gets the ratings that it does.

“Best Clam Chowder In The World .....Not just saying that !!!!”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

This restaurant is to die for with amazing meals ! You will not have a bad meal here ! it is one of the best restaurants i have ever been to it is the best for seafood.... BUT YOU WILL NEED TO WAIT.... most wait times are between 45-75 mins i was there last week and waited an hour and a half it was packed no room at the bar or sitting area people were stuck out in the rain . when i was finally seated they brought our drinks and rolls out FASSSSTTT . The chowder is amazing but so was my seafood alfredo with a big price tag of 28$ it was packed with seafood not even a lot of pasta i was shocked ! had an amazing meal but be ready to wait you should not go to the cape with out eating here !

“Fresh seafood”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

Stopped by for dinner during our stay in West Yarmouth last month. The restaurant was packed at 5pm with a 40 min wait and we ended up at the bar outside. Eventhough it was in the 90s it was pleasant with the sea breeze and the service was good. We had the lobster roll and clam chowder which was up there among the best in New England.

“GROSS!”
Reviewed August 12, 2013

We decided to go to dinner at Capt. Parkers because the clam chowder is excellent so we thought that the food would be just as good....NO WAY! The prices are outragous and the food is disgusting. We almost sent it back but it took us long enough to get our food that we didnt bother. Never again will we go back to this establishment.
