Capt. Parkers'clam chowder is legendary, but don't miss out of the rest of the menu. They have an extensive 'specials' list daily, fresh delicious fish, and yummy dinners reasonably priced. BUT, be prepared to wait.....it is extremely busy weekends and in the summer. You can always purchase some Capt. Parkers clam chowder to take home with you (found in many local stores). You have to visit at least once during your vacation-especially the outdoor bar! We live locally and are regulars!

My wife and I had a very good dining experience at Capt. Parker's. We both had the Thursday Night Special prime rib. The food was very good and cooked exactly as requested. The service was very good.

We will return.

We've gone to Cape Cod for summer vacations for many moons. We ALWAYS stop at the Captain's before we leave in order to get their Chowder to go. Yes, they have the BEST New England Clam Chowder on the Cape! The rest of the menu is as good -- FRESH seafood. YUM! The bar has police patches from all over the country - bring one and enjoy a free drink.

Started with extremely friendly and attentive hosts, server was strong but not personal. Meal was amazing!! Chowder that they are known for and prime rib that could tame any lion. Little pricier than desired, but a stellar experience nonetheless!!

We have been to Captain Parkers several times, thinking that we had a bad experience so we had better try it again as so many people rave about it. Still, no....it's an overpriced fish fry. The chowder was okay, lots of potatoes and cream not too many clams. The food was expensive and either too loaded with grease or just tasteless. The outdoor sitting area is very nice, so we would go back for drinks just not dinner.
