“Decent hotel”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 6, 2012

My girlfriend and I stayed at Bayside Resort over Labor Day weekend. We were greeted by the very friendly staff. The rooms were a good, impressive size. They were also very clean except for the strong smell of mold in the room. It may have been from a leaky AC or possibly guests coming back into the room wet from the pool. If it weren't for that issue, the hotel would have received a 4.

Great location for all activities. Hotel was clean and decent. Great pool and hot tub indoors plus nice pool outdoors with a bar. They serve all drinks. Plenty of chairs for lounging. There is a volleyball net near pool area. They have a great continental breakfast! Fruits, bagels, waffle irons, muffins, cereals, coffee tea juices etc. Outside fire pit with chairs. Overall a great family hotel!! Will return.

I travel with a group of golfers every year to the cape cod area. We play Friday through Sunday and for the past three years we have been staying at the bayside. We go in late September so I don't really get to enjoy the outdoor pool but it does look very nice. We do enjoy the fire they put on every night , but get there early because the chairs fill up pretty quick. The hotel is in a very nice location. Walking distance to a few restaurants and a very short drive to many others. My only complaint is the paper thin walls. When on vacation I am a very light sleeper and the noise in the hallways echo pretty bad. The lounge area and game room arena nice place to hang out with your group. Last year we hit a rainy Friday and the golf course closed, but the hotel staff was incredibly nice and opened one of the gathering rooms downstairs for us to hang out and play Tiger Woods Golf on there Wii. Will be back next year.

We went here in August. This was a great hotel in Cape Cod. It has many amentities, including both an indoor and outdoor pool. The outdoor pool even has a little bar area where you can get drinks and light snacks. They have a nightly bonfire (weather permitting) and a cool little bar inside the hotel with dollar bills stuck all over the cieling. This hotel is centrally located on the Cape, making sight seeing and day trips a breeze. I would definetlt recommend this place to anyone.

This was our first visit to this area and we were pleasantly surprised with our accommodation. Not used to motels we were very wary even after reading other reviews, but we did not need to worry. Staff were very pleasant when we checked in and this was the case throughout our stay. Indoor pool was great after a day sightseeing and was kept spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good and plenty of food on offer. The rooms were clean and spacious .Would stay here again

As a manual wheelchair user I found the resort pretty accessible. The bathroom was a little tight but had a roll in shower that I was able to put my tub seat in. The sink was accessible. The room had room to roll around in and was very nice but it was difficult leaving the room with the wheelchair since it didn't have the required 18" on the pull side of the door. Getting around the resort was pretty good also and the bar there was very cool, dollar bills covered all the walls and ceilings! There was a private beach area that overlooked the bay inlet and was beautiful. Although you could not roll on the sand to the beach chairs there was a nice patio with tables and accessible bathrooms near by. I would go there again and the location was convenienent to restaurants and shops.

Room Tip: If you don't need an accessible room, the rooms in the back with a balcony are real nice!

We stayed here Sept.10th. It was late, it was dark, and we had driven for 12 hours straight. We drove up and down the road looking at places on the strip, many not having 'curb appeal'. In the end, being tired, this looked the best. What a surprise in the morning light! Indoor pool, outdoor pool with tiki bar, sand volleyball court, games room for teens, bonfire pit, darn good included breakfast, and the most incredible view. You could have your breakfast in the breakfast room, in an adjoining quiet area with couches, or under patio umbrellas outside, gazing across the sand onto this spectacular view. Reception was outstanding, and great advice on dinner places. Room was large and quiet. What a great introduction to the Cape.
