We stayed here for 1 night for some business we had on the cape and ended up staying here because this is a pet friendly hotel. On the positive side, it's very safe and very centrally located on the cape. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby as well. The room itself, though, was a disappointment. There were some washcloths on the floor, an open bar of soap in the sink, an open bottle of water on a table. Not sure who had recently been there, but I don't think it was Goldilocks. I guess when you tell them you have your dog with you, you are relegated to certain very sparse rooms in case you have a very destructive or not-housetrained pet. There was not even one painting on any of the walls (see the photos posted by some other reviewers). I ended up sleeping on top of the comforter, wrapped in the blanket I happened to bring...wasn't adventurous enough to check out the sheets. This hotel has gone condo some years back, so if you stay here try to get one of the individually-owned rooms which will be personally decorated by the owners. I will say that the price is very reasonable. Next time I'll seek out one of the many, many private cottage or condo rentals on a site like VRBO or similar. I don't like to have to say negative things about any place, but...We stayed here for 1 night for some business we had on the cape and ended up staying here because this is a pet friendly hotel.
