“Very nice, but pricey”
Reviewed August 23, 2010

Hey, what can you say, we did this trip last minute. Coming in from Toronto after a 10 hour drive, using my iphone, blue tooth, macbook and 3G connection, my wife, my real time trip advisor/planner, tried to find something as we drove down. Well, no luck. Upper MA had poor 3G connections, up State New York was plenty good for wireless connection.
Anyway, we check in at 11pm and find the rooms to be ice chilly. The rooms are well kept, neat and tidy as I expect from a hotel. The usual amenities are there. Coffee maker in the bathroom I find odd and a first. We clean up and go to sleep and have a great night rest. The next day we have a great warm breakfast (included) the sausages were cold, and no bacon. But the coffee is good. The cost is a bit prohibitive IMHO considering this is such a sleepy town.

We just completed a one night's stay. The hotel is newer and everything is in good shape. Our room was very typical of the Hampton brand, so if you've already stayed in one, you pretty much know what to expect. The room had a king bed and cheerful, modern decor. It was clean. My only really complaint was that the shower head was partly broken, so it didn't work very well. The shower stall (no tub) was huge though.

Breakfast could use improvement. The attendant should have been wiping off the tables more often, because it wasn't terribly busy at the time we were down there and the empty tables were all dirty.. The bananas were very green and certainly not going to be edible for a few days. The o.j. wasn't good, and neither was the cut up fruit. I stay in Hamptons often, and usually the breakfast quality is a bit better.

I prefer the outer Cape, but like this property enough to say that I'll stay there again.

Very attentive staff, happy to help. Breakfast area, as you'd expect for peak vacation period, was teeming with people. Food was good, and a bit better than other Hampton Inn's we have stayed at. Coffee, waffle mix, juice, etc would run out, but the staff would do a good job to replenish them. Design of indoor pool and hot tub area was very good, and both had "just right" temperature. Outdoor pool was cold, and we didn't see anyone swimming in it during our 4 day stay. Too bad as it looked inviting. The room was good, and staff did a nice job for us. Another nice touch was the parking spaces, of which there were many, were bigger than we've seen, making pulling in and out much easier. Overall, recommend this hotel.

My husband and I were recently married on Cape Cod and decided to stay at the Hampton Inn in Hyannis, knowing that Hampton Inns are usually clean & well maintained. This Hampton Inn was no exception. The hotel was very clean, new & modern. We enjoyed using the outdoor pool, and there is also an indoor pool and exercise room, & very comfortable bed linens. It was also a very short drive to Main St in Hyannis, and would be a great place to stay with a family, with plenty of kids activities in the vicinity. My only complaint would be that the noise level in the halls in the morning - we could hear people talking all morning. Overall, a good stay, and one I would recommend to others!

It's a brand new hotel. Very clean. Staff- very helpful with information around Hyannis. Breakfast was just fine. King suite (400 sq.ft.) has foyer with sink, microwave and mini fridge; a sofa bed and lots of extra room for a king air bed if going with families. Well worth the price especially it's closeby Hyannis Main St. and the Inner Harbor where you can take the ferry.
Hyannis Main St. - lots of souvenir shops, restaurants, JFK Museum, a park, very nice to walk around especially during the night. Thai restaurant along Main St. was pretty good.
Hyannis Inner Harbor - took the 1 hour sunset cruise for $17.00/ adult. We had so much fun. Street parking only takes coins. Ben and jerry's was nice enough to change my bills.

...for the mid-Cape area...Hampton Inns are generally reliable and a good value. This one was a bit overpriced although it was high season -- the place was spotless, well-run, indoor pool with jacuzzi, outdoor pool, fitness room with very nice machines, flat screen tvs in the rooms, and helpful staff. Close to Main Street in Hyannis (quick drive) and walking distance from some restaurants and such in West Yarmouth. Although the hotel's setting was not particularly picturesque, it at least avoided the truck stop feel that the road closer to the airport had (i.e. where the Radisson is located).

I recently attended a 2 day meeting at this Hampton Inn and they were extremely attentive and helpful to our entire party. It is on Route 28 so you're not at the beach but many CC hotels/motels are not and this hotel was clean and updated with suites for those who need more space. Highly recommended!
