“Good for kids”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

Exhibits are set up really well for kids although some of them are looking worn and dated. Live shows with very informative host and cute animals. Very impressed that all animals are being rehabilitated and/or non-releasable.

“OK Option”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

We tried Zoo Quarium on a day that we couldn't use the beach because of the weather. It is a smallish local collection of mostly native animals and rescue finds. If you go with children it might be a good option for occupying their time for an hour or so. There are some indoor exhibits for the aquatic animals as well.. Not much to see. It is expensive for what it is. Regular adult tickets are over $13.00 children's tickets are over $8.00. Two adults, two seniors and two kids totaled....$70.50 .

“Kids will like it”
Reviewed July 8, 2013

We went to the Zooquarium over the 4th of July holiday. It wasn't that exciting for the adults, but my 9 month old enjoyed looking at all of the animals. I'm sure that young kids would enjoy the petting zoo, but my son was a little too young. We did not see any of the performances, so I can't comment on those. i recommend the Zooquarium if you have children, but the adults won't get too excited.

“Good for children, but a bit pricey”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

On the day we visited, there was a school group of about 40 four or five year olds, so there were a few different animal presentations. The young woman presenter did a stellar job engaging the children while teaching them interesting facts about the animals.

The place itself was nice enough. They do a lot of rehab and care of unreleasable local wildlife, so there was a good variety of local fauna. Good for keeping the attention of young children, but honestly a little lacking in variety of non-native species. I would have given it 5 stars if it was cheaper, but for the price I suspected a little more.

Good for a short trip with young children, but do not expect to spend a day here.

“Great place to take the kids”

Very nice, animals are well cared for. Hand feeding was a lot of fun. Great for the little ones. Fair value for the money.
