Where to start? Everything was wonderful. We came early for a 7:30 reservation and was saeated right away by a congenial hostess. The wait staff was supremely competent but not at all stuffy. We shares a warm mushroom and frisée salad with lots of other intriguing textures and tastes. My husband had pan roasted cod and I pan roasted chicken with the most wonderful cheese gnocchi and sautéed lemon spinach. When I said I didn't particularly care for the broccoli rabe that was included with the chicken, our waitress offered to substitute another of the side dishes, no extra charge. The sauces were elegant and we sopped them up with the wonderful crispy crusted bread. Dessert was a caramel crime brûlée for him and a plate of simply spectacular cookies for me with really strong, perfectly brewed decaf coffee. We were never rushed, we were treated graciously. I only hope I can return someday.
