Living in the Berkshires for the summers there is no shortage of good restaurants. We try to get to Rouge at least once a week. From the moment you are greeted by the exceptional staff you are always in for a superb experience. The servers are completely knowledgable of the wine list and the menu. Speaking of the wine, not only is the list wonderful but you will never receive a "measured pour". They will give you a real glass of wine. Salads are incredible, fresh and innovative. The main course dishes are wonderful, prepared to perfection. My favorite, the duck, never disappoints. If you still have room, get a desert to share...amazing!
Maggie and her chef husband William have done an amazing job maintaining their quality as the restaurant has expanded and grown...it just keeps getting better. Best restaurant in the Berkshires!
