What a delight when upon arrival on a rainy and damp afternoon, Roberta had built a cozy fire to welcome us! Although Freddy, the owner, was in England during our stay, Roberta made sure we were more than comfortable.
Prior to our leaving for dinner, there were various snacks along with wine and/or liquor available to take the edge off of our hunger. There were menus from local restaurants available to peruse and to assist in our selection.
Our room was located immediately off of the living room. It is a very bright and cheerful room. The bedding was plush and comfortable. Terry cloth robes are available as well as toiletries. Roberta had the hot tub heated outside for our use, but the rainy evening did not allow us to partake.
Breakfast was exceptional with homemade cranberry scones followed by fresh fruit and a yogurt-granola parfait followed by the main course of eggs benedict garnished with broccoli. Exceptional!
This is definitely a bed and breakfast I would return to in the future!

There really aren't the words to describe my experience of staying at the Honeysuckle Hill Inn. I had three spare days in the States, travelling alone, on public transport and with a pile of books as a back up. I often have to travel for fieldwork and have a fairly high level of resignation and endurance which, for once, was totally unnecessary.

The guest house is amazing in terms of scenery, comfort, facilities, food, drink and hospitality but it was the actions of Freddy (backed up brilliantly by Roberta) who made my trip so exceptional; he is a kind and entertaining host whose ability to facilitate and not intrude is exceptional. He transformed what could have been a fairly straightforward peek at Cape Cod into a memory that will remain with me forever. Thank you for your ever-ready taxi service, for your ability to make people feel so at home and most of all, for your thoughtfulness.

Those legendary breakfasts that I emailed my sister about everyday (!), the relaxed company of other guests and just the level of attention to detail that transformed what could have been another guest house experience into something so memorable... I can't recommend this place enough - it's a fantastic experience, go and enjoy it!

April 2008
Honeysuckle Hill Bed and Breakfast, Cape Cod, Massachusetts
A must stay on Cape Cod !

We recently stayed at the Honeysuckle Hill Bed and Breakfast and I have to let you know how wonderfull our experience was.
We wanted to find a little spot on Cape Cod to just get away and relax, but instead we found a little bit of heaven. Freddy Riley is a asset to the Bed and Breakfast. He made our stay fun, relaxing, and we would definetly return again and again. The Bed and Breakfast is in a great location. It has the peacefullness of what Cape Cod is all about, close to the ocean, shopping, and wonderfull restaurants. We were lucky enough to meet Freddy's wife Ruth and she also was very charming and informative. The Honeysuckle Hill Bed and Breakfast was clean, inviting, and the breakfast's were just incredible. We were very happy with our choice and if you ever have a chance to stay on Cape Cod, please do yourself a favor and book a room at the Honeysuckle Hill Bed and Breakfast, you won't regret your choice.

We have stayed at a number of bed and breakfast inns, and this is simply one of the best! Outstanding breakfasts, and the amenities in both the rooms and the general areas of the inn are superb. Freddy was extremely hospitable and helpful - we would love to come back as soon as possible!!

When my sister and I arrived, it was almost 9p.m. There was Freddy, ready to help up with our heavy bags, up a flight of stairs. He also took the time to explain every detail about the inn. The accommodations were very comfortable and there were so many toiletries supplied. The breakfasts were sumptuous. So many courses. Coffee and a variety of teas were offered throughout the day. Fresh baked scones and muffins were served with the coffee before formal breakfast. The conversation at breakfast was lively and fun, led by Freddy.

Needless to say, I will be staying at Honeysuckle Hill on my next visit to Cape Cod.

This was our second stay at the Honeysuckle Hill B&B in West Barnstable, Cape Cod, MA in the U.S. We attended a Murder Mystery weekend in March which was thoroughly enjoying. But, most of all, our stay at the Inn made our visit exceptional.

We felt pampered and truly rested. Freddie's 4 course breakfasts are a culinary delight. We would rate the Inn's cleanliness and ammenities as first class.

We stayed at this elegant and friendly establishment on personal recommendation of friends, supported by the outstanding reviews it has received over the years. Those reviews were fully justified. Honeysuckle Hill is a really welcoming and confortable house, and the owner, Freddy, and his assistant, Roberta, are friendly, charming and helpful in every way. Our room ('Wisteria') was large with a superb bathroom. The breakfasts were almost overwhelming in presentation, quality and variety. The dining room reminds us of a British Army Officers' Mess, with its elegance, polish and high quality. Freddy is a generous and outgoing 'character', helpful but unobtrusive. We can thoroughly recommend Honeysuckle Hill and would definitely stay there again - certainly the best accommodation we encountered in our tour of New England
