“Not going back.”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 19, 2012

Have eaten here several times. Each time thinking...."next time willd be better." But, sadly not the case. Have tried this place many times over the years. Even had my wedding rehearsal dinner there years ago. Food is just so-so. Service is just ok. Even have had meals that made us feel queezy afterwards. This has happened several times. So we are done. Wished I could report something better.

Haven't been to this local place in a while. Might not go back for a while. The food was good, nothing remarkable. The salad bar was empty until another customer complained. Our steaks were good. My rice pilaf was very odd........parts not compeltely cooked and it had a very smoky flavor. If you are going to have glass table tops and "china" plates you need a placemat of some sort. Had to chase the plate around the table as it kept sliding while trying to cut the steak. But the most annoying thing was the help. The dining room was mostly empty, just some of the booths filled. The bar area was 3/4 full. The help was running around like the joint was packed and they didn't expect it. They were practically breathless. One person took our order and she was so stressed we thought she was working alone. Another delived our food and another checked on us and did the clearing. Clearly, very disorganized. And I won't even get into the bill being wrong.

“Dine with a moose...”

Another classic Webster restaurant that's been around a long time for a reason. Famous for the weekly specials (lobster and prime rib). We take guests there for the lobster. The decor hasn't changed much over the years but that's part of the appeal. This is a local favorite and draws a decent bar crowd.

“Tuesday Night Two-fer”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 17, 2012

On Tuesday nights, the Lodge Restaurant offers two 1-1/2 pound Maine lobsters for $19 +change. Our family was visiting the area and being originally from the area we decided to try it. The meal was outstanding, the service was fantastic and you don't walk away from this place hungry. My family and I highly recommend the Lodge Restaurant.

“Small town restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2012

It's hard to find 5 star dining in a 3 star town. I think this place has been around as long as the town. The food is hit or miss depending what you order. The best options are steak, burgers, and most of the seafood. Most people go for the lobster special's which are delicious and you can't beat the price. They have a new all you can eat chicken on Sunday. The new salad bar is average, but items look fresh. The prime rib has always been great. All the other items are just so.so. I always say you have to remember where you are! This is a local spot, with local people. You walk into a bar area, but once the dining room is decent. Service is always friendly. So if your looking for a place with a decent meal at a fair price this is a good choice.
