This local, Waltham gem is one of my go-to places for lunch at work. It's a five minute drive from my workplace and it serves some of the best deli sandwiches I've had in Mass. They bake their own, delicious bread daily and use some incredible, very fresh ingredients as well. It's no wonder that they've been in business for over 30 years.

On my first trip there I ordered up a parma sandwich, which is essentially a freshly baked bread roll with some high quality prosciutto, mozzarella and some tomatoes. They throw a bit of basil in there as well and BOOM, you have an amazing, tasty sandwich.

I have returned a few times since and intend on eating my way through just about every single one of their sandwiches. Along with those, they also have pasta dishes, salads, risottos and even baked goods. I tried one of their cookies and it was a bit on the dry side though.

The service is lightning quick, and they accept credit cards. Parking is fairly easy to get around there as well, whether it being in their private lot behind the shop or metered parking in the street. Most sandwiches are made to order as well. A neat place.

Tiny place that provides sandwiches and they make their own bread. The sandwiches are prepared fresh but not warm, etc. They have a hot food selection, etc. and some cookies for dessert. I was not impressed with the sandwiches having had the opportunity to compare them with sandwiches in other cities, etc. but if you just have to have a prosciutto sandwich, than this place would serve you well.

They bake their own bread, but they are not what comes to mind when one thinks "bakery." They have a sad case of cookies and a few tired pastries, but the real food here is Italian sandwiches. They are great! The bread is homemade and incredibly tasty and the meats are fantastic. Go to dominics for great sandwiches! They are awesome!

The Parma (prosciutto) is excellent, and the arroncinis are delicious. Best sandwiches around. Giant cookies too. The double stamp prosciutto, if available, is amazing too.

Amazing fresh sandwiches on homemade breads, also great homemade Pizza. Only downside is limited hours and no delivery but I suppose thats to be expected with some older established shops.
