“Good lunch spot”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 6, 2013

Orange duck not what I was expecting but very good. For lunch, came with rice, broccoli and carrots. Sauce was orange, unlike coating in a Chinese restaurant, but still good. My husband had the Siam seafood lunch - he said it was very good and loaded with seafood. Service was very good.

“Gem in the 'woods'”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2013

Do use your GPS as Green Papaya is located in a stretch of the road which can be tricky to find. But once you got there, be prepared to indulge in authentic Thai food. We ordered takeout of the half moon pancake and stuffed pheasant wings; Choo Chee duck, Hunglay chicken and tamarind pork. Personally I found the pork quite a bit spicier (2 peppers!) than the other 2 entrees. All were very good, though.

“Good basic thai food, service was fine but very pushy”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 17, 2013

This is a great place for a quick bite to eat if yo are looking for Thai/Viet food. Overall the entrees were fine. My colleague ordered a meal, but did not want it as spicy, but when she received her meal, it looked like it was just steamed...very bland. When she asked to get some spices for the entree...the wait staff said NO....not only is the service very pushy about getting you served...but they want you to eat fast so they can turn the table quickly. If you are in a rush and know what you want to eat...this is the place for you...if you want to take your time and converse over lunch...this may no be the place for you.

“Decent food, nothing amazing”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 7, 2013

I went here looking for some very spicy Viet/Thai food, as well as a beer, on a Sunday. Apparently they don't have a license to serve alcohol on Sundays, which I didn't realize was even a law, so had some lemonade instead. The food was pretty good, had some soup and then green chicken curry. I've definitely had better, but the meal did not break the bank so I cannot really complain overall. Fairly simple decor.

“Lost its focus”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

Originally, a very good thai restaurant with quasi-authentic flavors. Now, its menu is an "Asian" hodge-podge that doesn't resemble anything other than a "wanna-be" "fusion" joint that caters to all Asian tastes and it fails miserably. They don't even call tom-yum soup by its real name and list chinese stir-frys on the menu. Big disappointment.
