My stay at the Westin was enjoyable. They provide covered parking on a first-come first-serve basis, and the beds are extremely comfortable. I slept incredibly well during my stay.

Having said this, I do find some grievances with The Westin, given this is a nicer hotel. Like many non-budget accomodations, the Westin charges guests $5/day for WiFi access which felt a bit like being nickled and dimed. The room was not only quite small, but lacked a micro-fridge and a microwave. It did include a small fridge full to the brim with expensive in-room charge items.

The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan resulting in a very steamy experience after the shower. I also found the lobby restaurant to be overly priced for their offerings.

Room Tip: Ask for a second-floor room for quick access to the lobby and parking garage.

Thanks for your feedback! We celebrate the good and work to correct the bad. We will certainly look into your comments and see if improvements can be made. To keep you in the know, we will be fully renovating our restaurant and lobby lounge this summer! Along with that comes a new menu concept. Give our food another try on your next visit! I am glad you had a good nights rest on our Heavenly bed...!

We've stayed in the area a few times before we tried the Westin. While staff is friendly, peeling paint in bathroom, $15 to park in a suburban hotel and a charge for internet will be enough to keep us from coming back.

Thank you for your feedback regarding your most recent stay. As we finalize our renovation, the bathrooms are the last piece of the hotel to be repainted and refreshed! You can look forward to those updates as they will be taking place this month. I hope the minimal charges for some of our amenities do not deter you from returning. We strive to provide a great experience and I’m thrilled you enjoyed your interactions with our amazing team members.

Stay for one night, The hotel is very clean and staff is very attentive. We had Breakfast Buffet and the food was fresh, omelettes made to order, plenty of choices. The one negative is the heating system was a little noisy.

Thank you so much for the kind words regarding your stay. It is great to hear that you enjoyed breakfast, the hotel and your time in Waltham. It is disappointing to learn of the noisy AC, we will certainly work to fix that for our future guests. We look forward to welcoming you back soon (maybe for more than one night!).

The beds are wonderful; the service was amazing. The staff were on it to do whatever they could to make me feel at home and looked after, such as remembering my name whenever they saw me, looking after the allergies I had to certain foods, I very much appreciated Ali in the restaurant, Jenna and Joy at the front desk and Ali at the valet station. There were many other staff too, I'm just not remembering their names.

Was there with a wedding party. We had five rooms and the experience was wonderful. Location was good for us due to activities in Weston. Front desk and housekeeping staffs were excellent, as well as everybody in the restaurant. Even got to meet Kathleen Gilbey, the general manager, and she was most gracious and welcoming. One very small negative was the garage could have used some tidying up, while we were there.

Overall a great experience and look forward to returning.

We’re extremely proud to provide four-diamond service in a scenic suburban setting, which we think is ideal for just such an occasion. Our entire team looks forward to welcoming you back for your next visit. Thank you.

I appreciated the attention to detail: I requested to be not too near the elevators and that was accomplished, along with not being too near the ice machine, etc. I feel that a suburban hotel, as compared to a city hotel, should include the parking. If you arrive by car, you don't have a choice: the overnight parking is $15. When you're paying over $250 for one night, I feel that the parking should have been included. Location is good for getting back and forth to Boston but you really need a car to get to the restaurants in Waltham. I would prefer to stay right in Boston in the future.

Thank you for your comments. The charge for parking is due to the costs of maintaining our multi-level parking garage. If you are visiting our area again in the future we hope you will consider a room rate package we offer that includes parking.

The Westin Waltham is convenient, clean and actually a very well designed building. The amenities were adequate, room service spot-on and all of the staff (except for the coffee shop employees) were very nice. We arrived early and they let us check in at 10 am...and for that we are grateful; driving all night from Pittsburgh was killer.

The shower had no pressure behind it whatsoever but maintenance was quick to fix it.

My BIGGEST complaint, and frankly this is what ruined the hotel, was the lack of noise reducing fixtures. We could hear all of the loudmouths on our floor and their children. We had an adjoining room with strangers who apparently liked to talk as loud as they could...oh wait there was a reason for that...THE BLARING TELEVISION THEY HAD ON. And then there was the mystery vent. There was a vent that was over the bed and we could hear every word from what I am assuming was the room above us. While noisy, disrespectful guests aren't the hotel's problem, the fact that there was no attempt for aural privacy in the rooms is inexcusable. I didn't call the front desk because frankly I didn't want to move rooms, I was exhausted from traveling around to see family and driving constantly. I had to turn the fan on to drown out the noise and catch some zzz's.

Other than that, it was a great hotel and I would reccommend it to anyone who wants a good location and a quality hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a non-adjoining room.

We appreciate you taking the time to share your review of our hotel. While we’re glad to know you enjoyed our hotel and the service you received, we’re very sorry for the noise issues you experienced. We recently completed a renovation of our guest rooms and efforts were made to insulate each room from sounds from outside areas. Unfortunately, there are still instances of noise traveling into a guest room from another room or hallway. If we have the opportunity to welcome you back, please let us know of any issues created by other guests during your stay. We make every effort to ensure a rejuvenating experience for all of our guests. Thank you.
