Staff: always friendly and professional. At check-in, he gave us a map of the area, including nearby restaurants, and there are brochures for lots of local activities and attractions. They also had tasty, warm cookies for us at check-in, a nice treat after some long travel!
Room: The room was clean, fairly updated, and nicely simple. We had plenty of space for 4 people to move around, and the beds were comfortable. The room had a kitchenette, including necessary dishes. My only complaint here was that the appliances were loud (we had to turn off the ice maker, it was so noisy at night).
Breakfast: It was mostly the same sort of thing every morning (eggs, sausage/bacon, potatoes, french toast), but it was delicious, everything done just right. They had brewed coffee but also made espresso drinks to order. Additionally, there were to-go items like yogurt, breads, and cereal boxes.
Hotel: It isn't near the train, so you really need a car to get into the city. There are, however, plenty of restaurants within walking distance, the neighborhood was quiet and felt pretty safe (we walked at night), and behind the hotel is a woodsy path that goes alongside the Charles River and which my kids enjoyed walking along. There's plenty of on-site parking, which was great when we got our car.
All in all, we had a great stay at Crescent Suites and would stay again.More
