My boyfriend and I met at Crescent Suites Saturday evening after finishing our respective obligations; a full day of classes for me and a full day of work for him.
Checking in, our keys were ready. The building was quiet and clean. We stayed in a standard room on the 4th floor with a river view. The room was open and relaxing and the design was smart and luxurious.
From Crescent Suites we walked to Moody street (even in dress shoes-it's very close) and had a delightfully Spanish experience. Tapas and sangria at Solea. The front windows were open and our waiter was fantastic.
Back at Crescent Suites we had a fantastic nights sleep on an amazing king sized bed. We woke easily and well rested and opened the blinds to a really beautiful view of the sun glittering on the river. This was our second stay at Crescent Suites so we took advantage of the full kitchen and made pancakes and eggs for breakfast while we watched our fill on the flat screen tv from the very comfortable seating area.
Enough Food network coaxed us back to Moody Street for pizza at The Upper Crust. I really liked their pizza, especially the crispy crust and fresh tomatoes in the sauce.
In 20 minutes we were in Concord for kayak rental on the Concord river for the afternoon. We came back into Waltham for cold beers and pub food at Joe Sent Me.
After another fabulous nights sleep my boyfriend left for Monday morning work in Newton. I went for a very satisfying run over nice, mostly natural terrain along the Charles River, had a great cappuccino made for me by the woman at the front desk and enjoyed the over sized bathtub for a refreshing soak.
The room and setting was so serene I brought in my school work and got a week's worth of work done for one class before it was time to check out.

This is a fantastic building in a fantastic location. It has just recently opened and I see it is a GREAT value for us while the hotel gets up and running. The owner is very involved and available by phone always and could be there in hardly any time at all. There is not always staff in the building. I did feel safe all the time at Crescent Suites.
I strongly suggest Crescent Suites Hotel in Waltham for other couples looking for a "stay-cation" to work into busy schedules.
I also envy people who take advantage of the extended stay option. It is a great location with great comfort, style, functionality, luxury and value.

My husband and I are staying at this hotel for an extended period due to a consulting assignment in the area. We chose it because we immediately felt like the suites could truly be our home-away-from-home. Our rooms are beautiful - granite kitchen and bathroom countertops, new appliances, and pleasing-to-the-eye decorated rooms. Our kitchen is fully equipped which is great for us because one of our home pleasures (and pseudo hobby) is cooking. And we are able to have Jessie, our greyhound, stay with us....how great is that and so important to us! The hotel cost includes free internet, long distance calls, cable tv, 24/7 fitness room and a business center (with fax and copy machine). And as a previous reviewer indicated, the suites are located in a quiet residential area but are stone's throw away (a walking distance) from Moody street that's lined with local restaurants, entertainment, etc. Finally the suites are located right on the beautiful Charles River! The proprietor, Michael, is very hospitable and makes guests feel very welcome, so does his staff. And Michael makes unbelievable good cappuccino!!! If you need a home-away-from-home with the efficiency of a hotel but the charms and feel of a home, please consider the Crescent Suites. You can view pictures of the hotel on Expedia.com

My family has been staying at the Crescent Suite Hotel for our fourth week now. It has served as our temporary home as our son has been a patient at Boston Children's Hospital, Waltham. From the beginning the owner of this beautiful hotel, Michael, has been more than accomodating. He and his staff have become like family, which is very comforting when you are alone in a new city. We have everything we need with enough space to spread out over a long stay. We can eat at home thanks to our full kitchen, there is a laundry facility on site, and we are only blocks from the hospital, grocery stores and restaurants.
Although we will be glad to leave when our son is healthy, it will be bittersweet, as this place will always hold a special memory for us.

The hotel is newly built and I stayed there when it opened. It's really a home-away-from-home modern hotel with super clean, spacious, quiet, and nicely decorated rooms! The fully equipped kitchen was a plus since cooking your own meal can be an alternative to eating out which is always the case when you stay in a hotel. This hotel is located in a quiet residential area but is a stone's throw away from Moody street that's lined with restaurants, entertainment, etc. (about 10 - 15 mins walk). The proprietor, Michael, is very hospitable and makes guests feel very welcome, so does his staff. Michael makes unbelievable good cappuccino!!! The hotel is a unique presence in the city of Waltham, MA that is soooooooooo lacking in good, modern and upscale accommodation! Make no mistake, this is definitely a gem that's highly recommended if you need a place to get your business done cos the hotel comes with free internet, long distance calls, business center,...... It'll definitely become an icon of Waltham, MA soon!!!! You can view pictures of the hotel on Expedia.com
