Just went for the first time based upon a newspaper ad, on a rainy stormy night, and we were glad we went out. Nice informal nothing fancy atmosphere with a nice wait staff, good soup (hot after I requested it to be warmed), and nice fish tacos and other items. Nobody in our party of four unhappy, including with the bill. So we will go again and recommend you might try it too.

We pass this place frequently on the main road from the Vineyard ferry up island. Although it appears to have opened a year or so ago, it escaped our notice in small tangle of interesting eclectic shops that line the road side.

Stopping at the adjacent bike store this year we noticed it and have now been there for a good, quiet breakfast and a very good, pleasant lunch when the small house was filled to capacity. Very good fish tacos and falafel sandwich; nice coffees; attentively casual service.

While the place still feels new and lacking in a coherent personality for atmosphere, it is already good enough for return visits and a sense of anticipation as it matures.

We arrived at 8:45 for dinner and 8 of us ordered 6 different meals--all were excellent. We were the only ones left in the restaurant by about 9:15 and one chef managed to make all of our meals fresh and quickly. The wine list was simple and both bottles we had were excellent. The menu is not too long but very diverse (around the world--Thai Curry, fish tacos, Mediterranean lamb burger, fettuccini and meatballs, etc) I had Red Thai Curry with Chicken and lots of veges. Two kids had sirloin meatballs with marinara, two adults had the steak with mashed potatoes with a fresh cilantro sauce and another adult had the seafood dish with an amazing sauce (I can't describe). Everyone was raving. Then we tried all 4 deserts and loved them all. The flourless chocolate cake (which I really don't generally like) was one of the best deserts I've had in a while. The chocolate chip cookie sandwich with homemade (I think?) coffee ice cream also was excellent. For "foodies" from the West Coast we were very surprised. Loved the casualness and the people as well.
