I had the pleasure of spending several weeks in Uxbridge during the summer of 2013 and went to the Hay Wagon three times for fried clams. My companion and I ate within the restaurant and took advantage of the take-out window. We found the clams at the Hay Wagon to be offered at a significantly better price than other Uxbridge clam restaurants. We found the clams to have been lightly battered and fried to a light golden color, perfect. The wait staff was charming. I am at a loss as to why other reviewers have made such negative remarks.
