Attentive staff, great food and a wine list which can be misinterpreted as the King James Bible (lol). Its remote location is a drawback. However, there are great spa ammenities, rooms and the wine dinners are unbelievable. The 2013 wine dinner schedule is outstanding.....

We liked everything! We chose the main dining room for dinner, and the glass roofed annex for breakfast and afternoon tea.Dinner was wonderful, the wine selection is incredible!

Half the service was great the rest of the time we were completely ignored.

Really wanted to experience their amazing wine cellar, but we were not even asked if we would appreciate some guidance.

Electing to dine during restaurant week at the Left Bank Restaurant was a winning option. The service was outstanding with great but not overbearing attention to detail to a select menu of appetizer, entree, and dessert for $33.12 per person. We enjoyed the flank steak and garlic scalloped mashed potatoes along with an heirloom tomato salad with fresh mozzarella. The other entrees, creamy crab risotto and a tender chicken breast over pasta in wine sauce were as good.
The wine pairings suggested in the menu complemented our entrees well. We finished our meal with peach melba sundaes and cappuccinos. This meal was a wonderful way to end our vacation.
We will return!

This restaurant is excellent and I do not say that often about a restaurant. It has a varied menu of local entrees with an excellent chef to give each entree a very special twist. From the freshly baked bread to the salads not drowned in dressing, it rates the highest accolades. I had scallops with artichokes on top of purred corn. My friend had Tandoori shrimp with roasted grapes tomatoes, avocados and a lightly limed dressing that did not touch the shrimp. A mixed baby green salad with young Parmesan , sliced strawberries and roasted corn kernels. We had two continental breakfasts. All were delicious.
