We went on a Monday night. I had read the reviews online. To find this place there is a small sign...it's a house. We were the first customers of the night and had not made reservations but no problem...we were taken to a table of 4. We ordered scallops and duck appetizers which we all tasted. Everything is fresh and seasoned perfectly. The bread was made fresh, served with garlic
Wonderful! Our entrees were lobster dish with butter sauce, but again, herbs and flavor prevailed. Another of halibut with green peas in a mint purée, wonderful! Dessert was tarts,.. Made elsewhere but very good.
Service was excellent...
The chef excellent!
The menu not like usually seafood on the cape
Highly recommend for special evening out!

We went here on our week long stay in Truro. We chose this restaurant as is had excellent reviews on Yelp and it was open later than most restaurants. The ambiance of the restaurant is outstanding. We were a table of 4 but I would have preferred this as a table of 2, because the restaurant seems romantic with the greenery and lighting outside. We sampled the pork belly app and beet and goat cheese dish as well as 2 salads. The pork belly was special but everything else was just "normal." I will say that the ingredients taste fresh as can be. For dinner we got the steak, sole and seafood stew. Each was delightful, but I wouldn't say outstanding. We live close to Boston, so get to go to some really fine restaurants and I didn't feel like this really compared. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you're looking for something yummy and casual but fine in the Cape.

Fabulous meal - nothing outrageously fancy, but carefully prepared, delicious meals. From the Niman Ranch burger for the 11 year-old, to lobster, morels and gnocchi - all amazing! Don't miss the scallops in parmesan fondue - 3 large scallops floating in a creamy parmesan sauce. Excellent!

This is easily one of the best meals I have ever had! It is a must during the shoulder seasons for anyone looking for a incredible dining experience. Being in Truro makes it seen like a getaway for townies! My usual meal starts with the roasted pear and caramelized onion salad, though the pickled red beet carpaccio and golden beet tar tare are great alternative. My main course is the fresh tuna bolognese! Tonight's dessert was the honey steamed cake!!
The garden room offers a recessed dining room built into a hill with lush plants all around. This adds to an already perfect dinner. The entire space is cozy and understated.
Reservations are a must!

A little hard to find but worth searching for. Good food. Similar to that of Wicked Oyster in Wellfleet. Good bar. A little loud. Service could be a little friendlier, but understandable in Summer rush. Try the sole, salads good, decent local oysters.
