I am a long time Truro resident and want to give tourists a piece of advice. If you want unfriendly service, high prices for frozen baked goods, very not local produce and a store that has absolutely no soul and no connection to the Truro community at all! this is your place. They don't buy from local producers, they close their parking lot to any who dare park for the weekly farmer's market, the concerts on the green or the Agricultural fair and their season runs only from Memorial Day to Labor Day to maximize profits with uninformed tourists. We locals will buy coffee there if we are too lazy to drive to Savory or to Wellfleet Marketplace where coffee prices are much lower. We also like smiles, which are non-existent from the owners and hard to come by from the staff. Don't go here unless it is an emergency. If you have a few million dollars please buy Jams and return Truro center to the community.

I'm giving it two stars simply for their iced coffee. Their breakfast sandwiches for over $7 include the skinniest slice of cheese & bacon that I don't know how they sleep at night! Drive a little further up the road and head to Savory & Sweet - my boyfriend and I loved their sandwiches, pizza & ice cream.

I ordered a specialty deli sandwich that are enticingly listed by local name and number on the chalkboard
For $7.25 I got two slices of provolone and a small strip of lettuce on wheat. The girl wrapped it and Ipaid for it.
Went to take my lunch break ( looking forward to the expected onion, bean sprouts, dressing ... all as described on the menu board) but I was left with a dry cheese sandwich.
Lesson learned.
Order the sandwich and they supervise the deli person every inch of the way. Other than that I'd say that if you are at JAMS don't forget to mosey on over to Macs Seafood (nearby) and self serve yourself a cup of the best clam chowder on the cape.

The owner is so rude to her help and doesn't say hello to you when you've been coming for years.. Everything is overpriced. It's not that great!

They have a great deli counter, and a grocery with an interesting selection of snacks and drinks. But everything is very very pricey. Stock up on the basics before you hit the Outer Cape!
