There are restaurants and there are restaurants, but Benjamin's is one of the best. The quality of food will enter your taste buds and you will want to return. The schrod and prime rib are delicious. It is a restaurant that the diner will want to eat a hearty meal. You will not leave hungry. I order stuffed mushrooms, a salad, the main meal and a dessert. My family and I have enjoyed the dining experience at Benjamin's many times. It is a place we often return to.

I took my family here for Thanksgiving Dinner and we were all so pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant with warm, inviting ambiance, we were seated before our reservation time, greeted by a wonderful, friendly waiter, (Steven), and served our exceptionally high quality food shortly after the order was taken. We were wowed. Not inexpensive but not over-priced either. If you can't be with family at the holiday time, this is the next best thing. Try the pumpkin martinis and homemade pumpkin pie. Any of the entrees is excellent.

Came here for a special celebration with our family this past weekend and were very happy with everything about it. We had a nice table in a corner near the fire place which was great. Our waitress was a lot of fun. She took several pictures for us and really helped make the day special. We shared stuffed mushrooms and bacon wrapped scallops for appetizers which were delicious as were the meals and the desserts. Our party order fish, veal, and beef dishes and everyone was very happy with them. We were not rushed at all and had a really enjoyable dinner. The only critique I would have is that the decor could stand to be refreshed a bit as it is a bit old but otherwise, I would go back again.

Was at one time a great restaurant, but it has certainly changed. Prices are high for food that is fresh but tasteless. Get a new Chef! Would not go Back! Call Girls in the Lounge add great entertainment.

I have been going to Benjamin's for literally decades! At first, Benajmin's was THE PLACE to go for a consistently outstanding meal. Unfortunately, it has slipped a bit in terms of their quality. It's still a pretty good restaurant but I would not give it the high marks I would have years ago. The restaurant is decorated nicely but is a bit dated. I believe it was once a mansion so some of the woodworking features are so pretty. The wait staff is cordial and efficient. I had the Baked Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp and it was good. Although the stuffing was a bit overly salted. My friend had a scallop dish and she loved hers. I will continue to go to Benjamin's for certain celebrations as it has become a tradition but I wouldn't go for any other reason.
